When did he realise THAT!
As KHOODEELAAR! has demonstrated with acutely centrally relevant evidence every day for the past almost six years, those who have contrived the current London Crossrail scam have been doing so by lying in the main.
And today has been no exception.
They have lied.
Part of their lying tactic is to go into the Crossrail hole and fake it a bit and come out of it and claim they have found diamonds and other minerals.
That is how they have been dressing up the disaster that they are bent on wreaking upon the ‘south east’ and upon the ‘image of prosperous London’
[Ooops!] [More on that later].
First thing that Boris did today was to get into the BBC frames and contort and twist his appearance and his expressions and make himself look almost thoughtful, serious.
Then he drops the bombshell confession! He almost says that he knows money is tight. Before embarking on a peddling farrago of ignorant contradictions.
But he still does not say that the real CRASS at the centre of the 2012 Hosting overruns and deficits is the CRASSrail crass.
Then there was the ‘confirmation’ of the dirty secrets by the so-called Crossrail. It was TfL and its assortment of pedllers that released and placed and peddled the ‘news’ that they would shift the dirt through the river Thames!
And another barrage of lies and contradictions.
As if those were not bad enough for the cause of accountability by the decision-makers and waste-causers and property-generating Degenerators in the name of and at the expense of the people of London today then there was the additional gem of ‘news’: that CROSSRAIL was so precious that the Brown-fronted Blairing party should be re-elected.
Why?
How?
The fate of the crassly conceived, crassly passaged [through the Palace of Ghostsmintser] CRASSrail, its touts and peddlers seem to suggest, is so tightly linked with the fate of the Blaired party that it [CRASSrail] can only be built if that Blairing Parry is retuned to ‘Government’ at the next UK elections.
There is no hint of realisation in that peddling inanity that during the same day Wednesday 30 September 2009, the majority of the mainstream party and media attention has been focussed on the difficulty of selling the product now associated with an electorally seriously ailing G Brown.
And that state of ailment was not a matter of perception. It was paraded brazenly by the ultimate dirty digger of modern times: Rupert Page 3 Billionaire Murdoch.
The real Porn Billionaire.
And the Pornographer Billionaire Murdoch was allowed to get away with that stunt.
Despite their predictable efforts, the Guardian’s best media experts [God help us! With Roy G carrying the main Guardian flag] failed to pin Murdoch to the core of the corruption that he has caused to society via the PORN PAGE 3 SUN and all that that has entailed.
As if the abysmal Guardian failure were not unforgivably bad enough, the BBC gave over its entire NEWS Channel and sub-channels to promoting Murdoch and his trademarks all day…
And they failed to address the real issues.
Just like Boris Johnson did.

Westminster collects £1.2bn in rates every year, more than the City of London, Birmingham and Manchester combined.
Rates are reassessed every five years, but as the most recent revaluation – details of which will come out later this week – is based on rents in April 2008, when property values were at their pre-recession peak, it will have a disproportionate impact.
Across Westminster the average bill is expected to rise by 38pc – generating an additional £456m for the Treasury. Including the London Mayor's Business Rates Supplement to pay for Crossrail, the total cost to businesses in Westminster will be closer to £500m.
Councillor Brian Connell, cabinet member for economic development at Westminster City Council, said: "In areas such as Westminster, businesses will be particularly hard hit. My concern is that some could be pushed close to the brink and lay off staff unless the Government introduces radical reforms to prevent the system unfairly penalising successful areas."

This morning’s banal platform made available to the ‘Prime Minister’, as the ‘reliable servant’ Andrew Marr addressed Gordon Brown on the David Frost smarmy-slot now additionally faked as the Andrew Marr Slow [a KHOODEELAAR! coinage this SLOW here in context and evidentially] on BBC 1 TV [Sunday 27 September 2009] was another insult to the people who continue to be frustrated by the lack of integrity in the BBC’s ‘current affairs’ slots. Not only has BBC ‘Editor in Chief’ [what a joke! What an utter insult that] Mark Thompson [being reported today to have abused his position again and appointed a widely known dummy to ‘head’ the BBC TV fakery projects] [Ooops! ‘Arts’] failed to establish any integrity in the BBC but he has made things even worse than they have been over the past 50 years.. In descending order, the BBC has been lowering the standards and this shows in the number, the range and the frequency of items promoting the BBC’s image that it places inside what should be objectively edited and presented factual items. Like on Saturday [26 September 2009], the BBC Radio 4 contained an alleged ‘Any Answers’ comment that had an allegedly British person[=’Anglo-Saxon’!] having just returned from ‘abroad’ [NOT the USA. ‘Abroad’ in such contexts is Asia or Africa or South America] and to pledge her mental servitude to the slogan ‘BBC is the best broadcasting organisation in the world ever..”. The presenter, who is another accomplished time-server inside the BBC and hails from ‘the North of the border’, like Andrew Marr and Gordon Brown do, ensured that his earnings and his commission and expenses from the public via the BBC were intact and would be boosted, by failing to quiz that mental slave peddling the lying role of the BBC as the ‘world's best broadcaster ever’. He should have asked the caller to substantiate the plug. But he did not. Because that was what the piece placed was intended to be, another BBC plug for the BBC… This behaviour by the BBC, which is twisting the evidence to placate the ‘administration’ in place, is increasingly getting out of control. As was seen in the slot on BBC 1 TV that followed the one Marring the truth this morning. That was Nicky Campbell. The Big Question. His presentation was indeed far too small. The shrieking Campbell who had mounted his career ambitions via the ITV before that outfit began to sink due to lack of truthfulness and relevance, appeared in the trade-mark, BBC-ised version of the shrieking ‘interrogator’ who duly let in a staged performance by a sub-blonde East European or similar, making a most bizarre OVER THE TOP plea for complacency and for lack of accountability!!! How the BBC employs its own surrogates! How it finds them. How it programmers them. How it pumps them, primes them and sets them off upon the mostly already zombified majority of viewers and listeners. From all backgrounds and with all shades of practised fakery perpetrating backgrounds…. As if that list of litany for the Brown-fronted Blairing regime via the BBC was not bad enough in one single morning, they made it even more horrible by bringing back Tony McNulty [still harrowing from Harrow, north-west London] under another slender pretext and let him promote his personal career without being challenged on his own records against democracy and for discrimination and unconstitutionality. The ONLY even mild criticism of the Brown-fronted regime is done by the routine list of hired ‘outsiders’. Like the Daily Telegraph group-based self-serving craftsman Andrew Pierce who had worked for Rupert Murdoch’s operations in Wapping in 'East' London. Pierce will never scrutinise the BBC on such a platform as the Breakfast slot on BBC1.... No wonder then that not one of these four slots, all-factual, supposedly, told the facts to the public today. No wonder that Andrew Marr did not quiz Brown on his contradictory cuts confessions… It is up to the KHOODEELAAR! campaign to tell Brown the truth..

This morning’s banal platform made available to the ‘Prime Minister’, as the ‘reliable servant’ Andrew Marr addressed Gordon Brown on the David Frost smarmy-slot now additionally faked as the Andrew Marr Slow [a KHOODEELAAR! coinage this SLOW here in context and evidentially] on BBC 1 TV [Sunday 27 September 2009] was another insult to the people who continue to be frustrated by the lack of integrity in the BBC’s ‘current affairs’ slots. Not only has BBC ‘Editor in Chief’ [what a joke! What an utter insult that] Mark Thompson [being reported today to have abused his position again and appointed a widely known dummy to ‘head’ the BBC TV fakery projects] [Ooops! ‘Arts’] failed to establish any integrity in the BBC but he has made things even worse than they have been over the past 50 years.. In descending order, the BBC has been lowering the standards and this shows in the number, the range and the frequency of items promoting the BBC’s image that it places inside what should be objectively edited and presented factual items. Like on Saturday [26 September 2009], the BBC Radio 4 contained an alleged ‘Any Answers’ comment that had an allegedly British person[=’Anglo-Saxon’!] having just returned from ‘abroad’ [NOT the USA. ‘Abroad’ in such contexts is Asia or Africa or South America] and to pledge her mental servitude to the slogan ‘BBC is the best broadcasting organisation in the world ever..”. The presenter, who is another accomplished time-server inside the BBC and hails from ‘the North of the border’, like Andrew Marr and Gordon Brown do, ensured that his earnings and his commission and expenses from the public via the BBC were intact and would be boosted, by failing to quiz that mental slave peddling the lying role of the BBC as the ‘world's best broadcaster ever’. He should have asked the caller to substantiate the plug. But he did not. Because that was what the piece placed was intended to be, another BBC plug for the BBC… This behaviour by the BBC, which is twisting the evidence to placate the ‘administration’ in place, is increasingly getting out of control. As was seen in the slot on BBC 1 TV that followed the one Marring the truth this morning. That was Nicky Campbell. The Big Question. His presentation was indeed far too small. The shrieking Campbell who had mounted his career ambitions via the ITV before that outfit began to sink due to lack of truthfulness and relevance, appeared in the trade-mark, BBC-ised version of the shrieking ‘interrogator’ who duly let in a staged performance by a sub-blonde East European or similar, making a most bizarre OVER THE TOP plea for complacency and for lack of accountability!!! How the BBC employs its own surrogates! How it finds them. How it programmers them. How it pumps them, primes them and sets them off upon the mostly already zombified majority of viewers and listeners. From all backgrounds and with all shades of practised fakery perpetrating backgrounds…. As if that list of litany for the Brown-fronted Blairing regime via the BBC was not bad enough in one single morning, they made it even more horrible by bringing back Tony McNulty [still harrowing from Harrow, north-west London] under another slender pretext and let him promote his personal career without being challenged on his own records against democracy and for discrimination and unconstitutionality. The ONLY even mild criticism of the Brown-fronted regime is done by the routine list of hired ‘outsiders’. Like the Daily Telegraph group-based self-serving craftsman Andrew Pierce who had worked for Rupert Murdoch’s operations in Wapping in 'East' London. Pierce will never scrutinise the BBC on such a platform as the Breakfast slot on BBC1.... No wonder then that not one of these four slots, all-factual, supposedly, told the facts to the public today. No wonder that Andrew Marr did not quiz Brown on his contradictory cuts confessions… It is up to the KHOODEELAAR! campaign to tell Brown the truth..

UK Transport Secretary Alistair Darling MP has had his Department for Transport [DfT] write to the Khoodeelaar! Campaign in the East End of London against the Crassrail hole Bill as part of a strategy to salvage the careers of the controlling Blairite Tower Hamlets Council. Khoodeelaar! held another powerful demonstration against that Council on Wednesday 1 March 2006.
The 1 March 2006 Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole Council demo was supported by RESPECT coalition MP George Galloway and by the main Opposition on Tower Hamlets Council, the Liberal Democrats. At the Council meeting that followed the same evening, Lib Dem councillor Louise Alexander sought to have Tower Hamlets show recognition to the community and to identify with the community in opposing the Crassrail hole plan attacks Bill.
The controlling clique failed to recognize the momentous importance of the motion and they even jeered at Councillor Alexander part of the time that she was presenting her arguments in support of the motion.
The only other non-Lib Dem councillor who supporter Louise Alexander was the RESPECT councillor Oliur Rahman
In his speech at the Khoodeelaar! demonstration earlier in the evening, Oliur Rahman described the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council as crooks and vowed to do everything he and his colleagues could do to remove them from office at the scheduled 4 May 2006 council elections.

Alistair Darling’s Department for Transport ahs sent a letter by email on Friday 3 March 2006 to Khoodeelaar organiser Muhammad Haque.
Crossrail-hole-Bill promoter Alistair Darling MP has not yet cottoned on to the fact that the East End community opposition to our area being devastated is not a temporary affair.
This opposition will continue and will grow. The only solution to this is for Darling to drop the whole Crossrail hole plot. To scarp the Crossrail hole Bill and to start again. Without a hole against our community. Without a hole in our community.
Nor has Alistair Darling understood the fact that he cannot get away with breaking the very laws on whose existence in the UK statute book he relies for his legitimacy as a bona fide member of a bona fide ‘democratic’ Government with claims to expect the community to abide by decisions that that Government makes.
Darling had his Department for Transport [DfT] write to Khoodeelaar! Organiser Muhammad Haque in February 2006.
In that communication the DfT made the plea that the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council had been in touch with the DfT and that the DfT was listening to the Council over concerns on the Crossrail hole problems.
That communication was intended to ‘reassure’ the Khoodeelaar! Campaign organisation that Tower Hamlets Council was ‘indeed’ representing the concerns and the opposition of the local community against the Crossrail hole.
There cannot be any ‘reassurance’ on that at all unless there is incontrovertible, categorical and unconditional resolution by the full Council saying No to Crossrail hole attacks on the East End.
And that evidence could have been produced by the ruling clique on Tower Hamlets Council on Wednesday 1 March 2006.
The Council ignored the opportunity.
The ruling clique on Tower Hamlets Council squandered that opportunity.
The ruling clique on Tower Hamlets Council showed contempt to that opportunity.
Tower Hamlets Council ‘leadership’ of Michael Keith is so contemptuous of the people in the Borough that it fabricated a bureaucratic scenario which it then used to waste as long as three hours of vital council meeting time.
They did that to defuse the power of the argument typified in the motion formally put to the council by [Lib Dem] councillor Louise Alexander asking for the Council to show that it had woken up to the dangers posed by the Crossrail hole to the East End community.
That Alistair Darling ploy will not work because there is nothing in the hundreds of A4 pages of ‘statements’ ‘positions’ and ‘explanations’ so far published about the Crossrail plan by or in the name of or at the behest of the controlling clique on the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council which shows any sign that Tower Hamlets Council is being ‘led’ or ‘controlled’ by tellers of the truth.
Those who have been in control of the Tower Hamlets Council do not tell the truth and they do not recognise the truth when we in the community tell it.
And nothing has been more staggering as a confirmation of the Tower Hamlets Council’s illegitimate but actual ‘leadership’s inability to tell the truth than their behaviour on Crossrail hole over the past three years.
Tower Hamlets Council’s ‘controlling clique’ has lied to the community in the past three years and falsely claimed that the Crossrail hole plan would ‘bring benefits’ to the community.
How could the Crossrail hole plan bring ‘benefits’ unless the controlling clique had taken total leave of its senses!
Digging a hole in the Brick Lane London E1` area could not bring any benefits
Digging a hole could also trigger off all kinds of unforeseeable but possible environmental disasters linked with remains of devises that might be lying buried there from the 1940s war time bombing in the East End.
Digging a hole in the Woodseer street is no different at all from digging a hole in the Hanbury Street or in the Princelet street.
Digging a hole entails a thousand other assaults that will be made on the lives of thousands of people in the East End.
For no reason.
There is no economic reason for doing that.
There is no social reason for doing that.
There is no environmental reason for doing that.
There is no justification whatever for doing or wanting to do any of the Crossrail-hole things in any part of the London borough of Tower Hamlets.
So why are the Tower Hamlets Council so adamant that they openly lie to the community?
Alistair Darling’s DfT letter to Muhammad Haque on Friday 3 March 2006 repeats essentially the same line that the DfT has been in receipt of information from the London borough of Tower Hamlets Council.
But nothing about the allegations that khoodeelaar! had been making against the lying clique on Tower Hamlets Council and including the serious allegation supported by documentary evidence that that clique had abused its control over the constitutional and the elected entity of Tower Hamlets Council.
Alistair Darling’s DfT letter to Khoodeelaar on Friday 3 March 2006 does not deal with the Khoodeelaar! demand for action by the DfT against the liars over the Crossrail hole plan.
The DfT [constitutionally responsible MP is Alistair Darling ] letter to Khoodeelaar contains further pretence of its ignorance of the khoodeelaar representations of the past 26 months about the lying clique in control of the Council in their bid to promote the agenda of the Crossrail promoting vested interests.
The key facts contained in the past 26 months of the Khoodeelaar representations to both the DfT and to the offices of the UK Prime Minister and the UK Finance Minister [Chancellor of the Exchequer] have been about the role of the identified members of the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council.
The key role and the key culpable conduct – misconduct - by those identified members of that clique on Tower Hamlets Council has been the brazen lies that the clique have told to local people in the Brick Lane London E1 area.

They lied when they then contrived with the employees of the Tower Hamlets Council including Christine Gilbert the Council’s chief Executive, to arrange to block emails being sent from the campaign against the Crossrail hole.

Why Khoodeelaar! has launched the legal action against the 'Bangla TV' – a small satellite TV station that is broadcast in the name of the Bangladeshi community in the UK
The reason is that Bangla TV has now joined the other 'ethnicity-linked' 'media' outlets operating in London including the area of the Khoodeelaar! campaign, the London borough of Tower Hamlets. As such, the 'broadcasts', although on satellite TV, are accessed by people in Tower Hamlets. The Khoodeelaar! decision is based on the fact and the contents of the programme as shown in the evening on Friday 2 June 2006 allegedly about Crossrail. That programme was typical of the completely ignorant, idiotic and falsifying empty banal ‘programmes’ around the Khoodeelaar! campaign against Crossrail which another satellite TV station had shown and which has been in effect repeated on Bangla TV over the past 5 months that gave a significant boost to the state of confusion that was created to help the corrupt clique on Tower Hamlets Council. _In the past five months, Khoodeelaar! has received repeated requests allegedly from these TV stations for participation in their programmes about the Crossrail hole. _Khoodeelaar! refused to take part in any of these. For a start, these stations were NOT doing anything about Crossrail until Khoodeelaar! Gave them information on 17 January 2006 and on dates after that. But the information Khoodeelaar! Gave to these corrupt TV stations were routinely abused by the stations which then abused their access to the Khoodeelaar created and Khoodeelaar! released materials make contacts with the crooks in control of Tower Hamlets council and make private deals for their own benefits. Deals that included cash or equivalent bribes from the Council in return for the stations not letting the Khoodeelaar! On 30 May 2006, we received a latest request, this time in the from of an e-mail, and from Bangla TV. That request was the first one that was responded to by Khoodeelaar! . The campaign against Crossrail hole did so by setting out a number of conditions which must be met if Khoodeelaar! would at all agree to take part in any TV programme.? On this occasion, the request from Bangla TV was for an alleged programme scheduled for Friday 2 June 2006._During 31 May 2006,a long detailed exchange of questions and answer took place at the initiative of Khoodeelaar! _WE wanted to establish what, if any, evidential knowledge about the Campaign against Crossrail the Bangla TV programme presenter had. We also wanted to establish what their actual purpose on doing the programme at this time was and who else would be taking part and on what criteria. As is standard constitutional law practice with the Khoodeelaar! Organisation, a number of clear and compelling conditions were put to the Bangla TV. One of the Khoodeelaar! conditions was that there would be no one from the corrupt Tower Hamlets Council controlling clique in the same programme

That programme was typical of the completely ignorant, idiotic and falsifying empty banal ‘programmes’ around the Khoodeelaar! campaign against Crossrail which another satellite TV station had shown and which has been in effect repeated on Bangla TV over the past 5 months that gave a significant boost to the state of confusion that was created to help the corrupt clique on Tower Hamlets Council. _In the past five months, Khoodeelaar! has received repeated requests allegedly from these TV stations for participation in their programmes about the Crossrail hole. _Khoodeelaar! refused to take part in any of these. For a start, these stations were NOT doing anything about Crossrail until Khoodeelaar! Gave them information on 17 January 2006 and on dates after that. But the information Khoodeelaar! Gave to these corrupt TV stations were routinely abused by the stations which then abused their access to the Khoodeelaar created and Khoodeelaar! released materials make contacts with the crooks in control of Tower Hamlets council and make private deals for their own benefits. Deals that included cash or equivalent bribes from the Council in return for the stations not letting the Khoodeelaar! On 30 May 2006, we received a latest request, this time in the from of an e-mail, and from Bangla TV. That request was the first one that was responded to by Khoodeelaar! . The campaign against Crossrail hole did so by setting out a number of conditions which must be met if Khoodeelaar! would at all agree to take part in any TV programme.? On this occasion, the request from Bangla TV was for an alleged programme scheduled for Friday 2 June 2006._During 31 May 2006,a long detailed exchange of questions and answer took place at the initiative of Khoodeelaar! _WE wanted to establish what, if any, evidential knowledge about the Campaign against Crossrail the Bangla TV programme presenter had. We also wanted to establish what their actual purpose on doing the programme at this time was and who else would be taking part and on what criteria. As is standard constitutional law practice with the Khoodeelaar! Organisation, a number of clear and compelling conditions were put to the Bangla TV. One of the Khoodeelaar! conditions was that there would be no one from the corrupt Tower Hamlets Council controlling clique in the same programme

1. Tower Hamlets Council fails to honour community demand for single Council resolution against Crossrail hole Bill
2. Tower Hamlets council fails to sack overpaid employees involved in [a] lying for Crossrail hole and in [b] misleading the community in the two weeks following the KHOODEELAAR campaign demand passed on Sunday 22 January 2006 for Tower Hamlets Council to pass the resolution saying No to the Crossrail hole. One such employee, Owen Whalley whose illegitimate and illegal ‘advice’ for the Crossrail hole in the Woodseer Street [!] to ‘ALL COUNCILLORS’ dated 19 September 2005 was clearly rejected by the community on 22 January 2006, carried on lying for Crossrail when he claimed in a faxed communication sent to the Brick Lane Area on 26 January 2006 that he, Whalley, had been in receipt of ‘legal advice’ [‘counsel’] to the effect that it would be consistent with the community’s demand if the community changed its opposition to the Crossrail hole and became an extension of the propaganda stunts being orchestrated at public costs by the lying Crossrail-linked holders of the controlling posts in Tower Hamlets Council at the present time !

Tower Hamlets Council continues to fail the local community over the Crossrail hole Bill as the Council allows Christine Gilbert, the ‘chief executive’ to defy the local community and to refuse to answer legal questions and remain silent despite overwhelming support across the community for the demand against the Crossrail hole anywhere in Tower Hamlets.

Why didn't the genuine members of the Labour Party in Tower Hamlets stop the Blair Council from taking the Borough to this present verge of political abyss? Why have they abolished the Labour party local government committee?
Why haven't former radical Labour councillors’ voices been silenced? Why don't we see or hear any of them anywhere in the streets of Tower Hamlets?

Tower Hamlets Council is corrupt and once a new election has taken place - the people should demand a thorough investigation into the actions of Labour councillors and all officers working in close association with these individuals including Christine Gilbert (wife of former Crossrail minister Tony McNulty, head of major projects including Crossrail we assume Owen Whalley (officer who forgot to give the names of local groups in Spitalfields to Crossrail) and environmental head David Farrell (does not see Crossrail posing environmental problems).
This council needs to be subject to rigorous scrutiny and it will unravel more than Doncaster Council in London.

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD Vince Cable so! That the ‘economics’ as ‘practised’ in the UK were ignoramics! That the basic foundation of the economy was being ruined by the ignorant personnel who have been occupying the positions of making decisions about ‘the economy’ and about ‘economics’. That production of goods and services was being curtailed, almost wantonly undermined while gross and grotesque indulgence in debts and debts-creation were being exhibited by the Govt and its colluders in the removal of sustainability from the UK economy.. That the UK Houses of Parliament have become Houses of stooges, touts and time-servers with not a clue as to what was causing the crisis while they, these touts etc, regularly claim and pocket their expenses, their salaries and their pensions- whichever ploy is the most plausible. And there is no audit of the executive. At no level. Today’s Stephen Glover scare-piece, wail-a-thon in the printed DAILY MAIL [Monday 21 September 2009] is another insult to the intelligence. Glover, who is given prime spot by the DAILY MAIL, lacks integrity of evidence. Today he is paraded as stand-in for another, even shriller wailer, Melanie Pee. She is apparently away. Wish that Mel P never got that wail-a-thon spot in the DAILY MAIL again. She dishes out misinformation and prejudice. Against objective universal demands needs and requirements of evidentiality. As does Glover. He, like Mel P, is a packaged Daily Mail ‘feature’. They are ignorant. They are predictably prejudiced. And they are doing great disservice to the cause of universally applicable - and necessary - journalism of watching out for the truth. They are letting the real villains stay in posts and do democracy and accountability down. Today, Stephen Glover, the ‘Mel P stand-in’ does the routine. He misses key facts and instead latches onto cheap sloganeering. Tired, old, obsolete, boring, inappropriate and unproductive sloganeering. Glover never raised an eyebrow about the stupidities of ignoramics in Britain. Nor has Mel P. But then Mel P is not slotted in the Daily Mail to support education. She is positioned to spread prejudice, ignorance and insecurity. This is why despite the pitches that the Daily Mail occupies in the alleged Middle England, the DAILY MAIL MEDIA GROUP is suffering serious business losses. As are its alleged rivals. They are its colluders in the media ‘trade’. They, like the Daily Mail, wear guises. They shriek and they scream. They do both in the name of “England’. And they let the English people down. They suppress the truth and they let the perpetrators get away. The odd scare-story ‘target’ is not the real villain. It is often a small piece. The system remains unchanged. The audit remains unconducted. And this is why the UK economy has come to the sorry pass that it has done. Because the mainstream media, as typified by the Daily Mail, has failed to raise the alarm it should raise every single day. As has the ‘mainstream UK Parliament’. It is the real scandal. Had there been an active, interrogative, intelligent and alert parliament in the UK, there would then be truth coming out to the public about what the UK Executive was getting up to. But there is no such parliament. As we have said now for a year since we devised the analytical, diagnostic phrase, the Palace of Westminster is in practice the Palace of Ghostsminster. And Vince Cable is a ghost. Contrary to the platform that he has been given by the Mail group on their Mail on Sunday. Cable is not justified in assuming that he is ethically morally or democratically legitimate in making the comment ONLY TODAY that ‘Crossrail is not a key priority’. Given that he did not say so in the years that the ‘Crossrail Bill’ was being passaged through the two Houses of Parliament and their stooged members on the ludicrously plaint ‘select committees’, it is necessary to ask Cable: why? Why had he allowed his Lib Dem co-MPs, like Tom Brake and Lynne Featherstone to keep uttering those stupid, zealous, fanatic wails for Crossrail? There is a culture of corruption, abuse and greed dominating the behaviour of those who control the key places in the remnant of the ‘UK economy’ So with no sound economic base, the country is heading for a far more serious crisis than either Glover or Cable show they are capable of appreciating. This has been seen in their meek role when the crassly contrived CrossRail scam was being undemocratically pushed through the two Houses. When Alistair Darling was used as an agent of the vested interest set on looting the UK economy under the pretext of Crossrail, the debate – that was a debase indeed! – that was staged in the UK of Commons on 19 July 2005 did not include any systematic, reasonable dissection from V Cable of the seriously flawed piece. Today, Monday 21 September 2009 he is reported by the CRASSrail-backing London EVENING STANDARD to have cottoned on, under pressures of economics and even more importantly for the Lib Dems’, under pressures of electoral desperation. They are now forced to give up the fantasies and banalities.... Cable now confesses: Crossrail is crass! Well, Vince has his own words for decrying the scam. We call his statement as admitting that he now recognises Khoodeelaar! told him so aptly and accurately... That the Big Business, City of London, Bechtel-backed Crossrail was nothing but a crass ploy to loot the UK public via hiked up taxes and to rob the regional public of £Billions that should be spent on really urgent provisions…

Crossrail's future was thrown into unprecedented doubt today as its all-party support appeared to unravel.
In an exclusive interview with the Standard, Liberal Democrat economic spokesman Vince Cable became the first political heavyweight to warn that the £16 billion east-west rail scheme for London was unlikely to be a "key priority".
Amid fears that it may be deemed too expensive in a slump, Boris Johnson "begged" ministers to spare Crossrail and other major infrastructure projects from the axe. The Mayor pleaded in his weekly newspaper column for Crossrail not to be sacrificed to the recession - just months after shadow Chancellor George Osborne refused to guarantee that a Tory government would press ahead with the project.
"We need high-speed rail, Crossrail, an upgraded Tube and, with Heathrow running at 99 per cent capacity, we need a new and visionary solution to our aviation needs," Mr Johnson wrote. "As the politicians rev their chainsaws, I beg them to remember this key point: that it is only by investing for the long-term in infrastructure that you can create the strong entrepreneurial economy that can pay for strong public services."
However, Mr Cable, the Twickenham MP and his party's Treasury spokesman, suggested that Crossrail may have to rely less on public funding and warned against being "mesmerised" by big projects. "I doubt that in our list of key spending priorities at the next general election, we are going to be listing X-billion pounds of taxpayers' cash to invest in Crossrail," he said. "They have got to try and find a funding mechanism that isn't so dependent on the public sector."
Mr Cable called the new line, due for completion in 2017, "desirable in a general sense for London". But he stressed: "The point that is often made that if you are trying to use public investment to get maximum benefit, a whole series of small projects would give a better return.
"Certainly in south-west London, we have these arguments about using Waterloo International (the former Eurostar platforms). It involves very little money, it's just sitting there. It's an absolute scandal.
"We are not arguing for stopping the project but equally we are not suggesting that we should be finding lots more public money for it. We just can't afford it in the current environment." Mr Cable, who has called for greater honesty over looming public spending cuts, said money already "committed" to the scheme should be paid.
But it was not clear whether he believes that ministers should meet the full £5.1 billion government contribution for the new line, which will run from Maidenhead and Heathrow under central London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.
However, a spokesman for big business organisation London First said: "What is the normally thoughtful Dr Cable talking about?
"Rarely if ever has there been an infrastructure project less reliant on the central government purse. Crossrail relies on the Exchequer for roughly a third of its costs, with London businesses, London council tax payers and passengers picking up the rest." Writing for The Standard about his general approach to slashing public spending, he added: "We need to start on the basis that everything is on the table; everything must be looked at and judged on its merits." In his speech to his party's rally in Bournemouth, Mr Cable was proposing that the Government set up a British version of the European Investment Bank to fund major infrastructure projects.
He argued it would "bring together private capital and professional management under government sponsorship".
Party officials later insisted there had been no change in policy on being "very supportive" of Crossrail. A spokesman said: "We are not proposing to change the funding package."

And the agents of Big business, Installed in the corridors of UK 'Government' and central state and local state power, have denied that Crossrail is a wasteful scam. They have peddled fiction after fiction. They have lied. They have relayed the lies invented by the practitioners of corporate and City of London vested interest lies. They have acted against basic norms of accountability. They have ignored basic standards of democracy. They have shown contempt for local democracy. As happened in the London Borough of Greenwich, which is opposite the toy town that has been built on the northern bank of the river Thames and in the surrounds of Canary Wharf….In Greenwich, the ruling Blairing controlling faction SACKED one of their ‘fellow’ councillors, a man who had joined the Labour Party of ‘old’ and been even elected councillor. His offence? He dared to say that Crossrail was crass. Not in these words, perhaps. But words to the same effect. That Crossrail was a diversion and a waste and that it would cause loss to the local community. In ‘local’ Tower Hamlets, the controlling clique has perpetrated leis after lies over the years. We have chronicled how they have lied. From ‘leading’ councillor to ‘chief executive’ they have lied. We have called them ‘Crossrail hole scam-inviters’. We have shown how they have prevented local people, especially local people campaigning against the Council clique’s collusion with Crossrail-scam-foisting Big Business and their touts from exercising even the most elementary access to the “ peoples’ local council” and its ‘democratic amenities’. As late as the ‘mayor-making’ event staged earlier this year [2009 AD] in the obstructively inaccessible and diabolically constructed ‘Council chamber’ [in the name of ‘Tower Hamlets’] based at the commercially-owned and even more commercially-restricted ‘Town Hall’ [a joke! And AADHIKARonline websites and blogs] at the ‘Mulberry Place’ in London E14, the Tower Hamlets Council’s ‘democratic services’ failed to honour the word it had given to KHOODEELAAR! In Tower Hopeless, you cannot just turn up and observe ‘your local council’ ‘in operation’! You have to make advance bookings, just to be able to sit in the token space they exaggeratedly refer to as ‘the public gallery’. And to avoid a surprise at the door! It is always uncomfortable. You cannot stretch the legs and you are always under the physical pressure of space. They have no space there for more than the councillors’ family members and ‘friends’ to sit. And this happened on this last ‘mayor-making’ occasion. Democratic services were done away with. The Ordinary community were told they could not go in. It did not feel like the local council. It felt as if we had arrived as gate-crashers at a private event. In fact we were told to sit in the democratic ‘out room’! There are far too many mala fide elements posing as Tower Hamlets Councillors or their likes in ‘Mulberry Place’ who would not want local people to see what the ‘councillors get up to’ even during a staged event like the ‘mayor-making’ banality. When we arrived to observe the event, we were duly prevented from entering the ‘Council chamber’. We were told there was no room… The democratic ‘out room’ is allegedly equipped with sound and vision links to the ‘Council chamber’ next door! But it isn’t. It is a toytown torture chamber equipped with the stupidest imaginable confection they claim to be a video screen………. Indeed we have shown Crossrail to be a vehicle for diverting public money for the profit of scam-organising tout outfits and their agents in the UK Parliament..We have also observed the role of the ‘mainstream’. The ‘mainstream’ media. The ‘mainstream’ political parties. The ‘mainstream’ ‘think tanks’. On Saturday, we noted that the London DAILY MIRROR, for the first time in our view and knowledge, has joined the long overdue ‘campaign’. For the scrapping of the wasteful, the diversionary scam Crossrail. The London DAILY MIRROR called for or stated the need for the axing of Crossrail. Today [Sunday 20 September 2009] we reproduce below the Right-wing [on which ‘denomination’ we shall elucidate and elaborate at a later date by way of update and context] ADAM SMITH INSTITUTE making the assertion that “there are compelling financial cases for abandoning the Crossrail project”. We have chronicled similar calls as made by other Right-wing media or via the same right wing media for the scrapping of Crossrail on the ground of costs alone. We have shown the trend including such longtime peddlers of Crossrail in London as the London School of Economics-Linked Tony Travers, the London-originated weekly the ECONOMIST, the Rupert Murdoched London Tomes newspaper, a former editor of the ECONOMIST and of the London Evening Standard Simon Jenkins, the Political editor of the London Sunday ‘The People’ Nigel Nelson. all of them have in one way or another said that Crossrail is not worth it, scrap it..

The ADAM SMITH INSTITUTE’ interpretation of CROSSRAIL:
“In recent weeks, much political debate has focussed on public expenditure, which – given the unprecedented levels of government borrowing – needs to be cut sharply. However, most solutions being put forward focus on scrapping or cutting spending on individual programmes. Whilst there are compelling financial cases for abandoning the Crossrail project, for substantially reducing the costs of the replacement Trident programme and for means-testing child benefit, this pick n’ mix approach is not analytical.
Instead, the next Government should implement a top-down approach by focussing on the 2009/10 public expenditure projection – before interest – of £671 billion: any Government forecasts beyond the current year carry little credibility. To regain control of public expenditure, ongoing real cuts of c3% per year should be applied to this figure. Hence, for 2010/11, the next Government should aim for a £650 billion out-turn. Subsequently, departmental budgets should be specified by the Treasury to enable such a figure - before any unforeseen contingency items - to be reached. Consequently, major spending departments, such as Social Security, Health, Education and Defence, should be required to operate within these figures.
It should also be made perfectly clear that - like the Chief Executive of any major plc - the Secretary of State is primarily responsible, with his ministerial team, for deciding how the allocated departmental budget is met. Top civil servants, including the departmental Permanent Secretary, should be obliged to play a leading role in ensuring that the best possible services are provided within the budgeted amount.
Any unreasonable failure to deliver should be punished in the same way as applicable to FTSE-100 Chief Executives, whose turnover ratio is high – though still well below that of Premier League football managers.
Of course, there would be political flak but is anything more important at present than regaining control of the UK’s parlous public finances?

Nearly 700 businesses in Kingston who are likely to be asked to pay for Crossrail should be repaid with more investment in transport locally, an MP has said.
Firms from across London will be asked to pay from their business rates from next April, to pay for the high-speed east to west route which will link Heathrow with the City and Canary Wharf.
Kingston companies above a rateable value of £50,000 would be asked to contribute £2.57m in total - 1.4 per cent of the total cost.
Susan Kramer, MP for Richmond Park and north Kingston said: “In return, we must get real investment to solve some of the transport problems we have locally.
“While extensive works are going on at weekends to improve the Tube network, we are seeing very little gain locally.
“The quid pro quo for the support from our area must be more investment to reduce overcrowding, increase train capacity and mitigate the effects of Airtrack on level crossings.”
Last week the Liberal Democrats who control Kingston Council said they were “angered” by the funding proposals, despite a report saying Kingston could reap up to £18.3m from benefits as “better paid” Londoners spend their money in the borough.
In 2004, an official report said the potential cost of the Kingston extension was close to £1bn, effectively ruling out the link.

20 minutes.
Lib Dem MPs Susan Kramer is full of contradictions.
As a publicly claiming economics-conscious career-
carrying person with almost acceptable ‘international’
links, she is being irresponsible with her latest stunt for
Crossrail. ..she has not shown why her so-called quid
pro quo demand is realistic, let alone fundable. I put a
series of costs and priority related questions to her
office in the past hour. There was no evidence from her
office justifying Ms Kramer’s stunt. Nor is there any
sign that she has done any study of the transport needs
of london as a whole. It s additionally irresponsible that
she should repeatedly confuse her constituents by
talking and 'moving' in every direction about transport.
Crossrail is wasteful, diversionary scam. There is no
need for it. What the people of London need is an
improved standard of hardware and manners by
transport personnel...and accountable, honest set of MPs
and local and regional political decision makers. Not
another debts-causing scam...Susan Kramer should
support the call for the scrapping of Crossrail. Not add
to the list of subsidiary wasteful indulgences to fund the
main scam..

Thanks for that khoodeelar, I don't think there's any danger of anyone believing anything that an MP says, though. At least not unless they show that it's thoroughly well-researched, which MP's rarely if ever do.
I'm not quite convinced that "improved standard" of hardware and transport staff manners is one of the things that the people of London needs - after all, how much would this cost?
Accountable and honest MPs would be nice, though, but where would you get them from? I'm not sure that such a being exists. Personally I think that elections and "democracy" is nothing but a facade.
If you want something done, you can't rely on the government to do it; no, you've got to do it yourself. That's the way it is, and no posturing about how our so-called "democracy" is supposedly better than the system they have in Iran or the People's Republic of China is going to make the slightest bit of difference to that.

Thanks for your comments, Fred. The KHOODEELAAR! Campaign is against Crossrail for the obvious reason that it is uneconomic. We are also against Crossrail because the scam has been blatantly and quite corruptly pushed through the UK Parliament by the Executive defying the authority of Parliament. Or at least by defying the democratic authority that ought to have been asserted by the ordinary members of Parliament.
KHOODEELAAR! has sought in the past nearly six years since we began the campaign against the Crossrail scam, to tell the two Houses of parliament, we lodged formal objections to the ‘Crossrail Bill Select Committee’ in the House of Lords and before that, a number of our affiliated groups, including the Spitalfields Small Business Association plus several thousand local traders, residents and tenants from across the East End of London signed our communications and formal letters of objections via a listed number of objectors. We wanted Parliament to hear the evidence that Crossrail was not only NOT wanted by the people of the East End or by the people across London but that there was no economic let alone environmental justification for the scam.. Neither House of the UK ‘Parliament’ would allow our evidence to be put to them! Besides, the House of Commons version of the ‘Select Committee’, as chaired by Alan Meale MP , stopped one MP from raising questions about a Crossrail Whitechapel station. That station ‘scheme’ was a direct bribe made to appease and recruit the controlling clique on the local Tower Hamlets Council fore the purpose of the Big Business scam. The reason, as given by Alan Meale –if it can be treated as reason – was that on 19 July 2005 the House of Commons had barred any real examination of the Crossrail scam to be done by the ‘Select Committee’. So what was the point of the Select Committee? The public did not know in June 2006 what they came to know in June 2009, three years later. That the Houses of ‘Parliament’ have been reduced to Houses of Stooges and touts. There is no evidence of any democratic, independent. Objective and rigorous and consistent challenge on any issue that matters to the public in this country by either Houses to the Executive. This is far worse than anything has been associated with Guy Fawkes and his over-recited plans to physically do away with the Palace now worthy of being called Ghostsminster. Any examination of the Crossrail ‘negotiations’ along the original stated route will confirm the pattern of corruption as the key feature of the process. That so much of the Crossrail scam peddling is done by MPs and peers and not by any recognised ordinary public more than proves the diagnosis that it has been a ploy by unaccountable forces that are bent on looting £Billions of UK public money. Khoodeelaar! has been seeking to draw attention to the one thing the ordinary people still can do in this country. SAY NO. It will save £Billions if more people start to say No like we have been saying. It will be most prudent to say No now than after the ‘horse has bolted’. Unlike Gordon Brown, we remain ordinarily committed to the virtue of prudence in public finance and public decision-making. Despite the hype, neither the Conservatives nor the Lib Dems as the two numerically major parties of Opposition have done its work of holding the Executive to account at all on this.

Nearly 700 businesses in Kingston who are likely to be asked to pay for Crossrail should be repaid with more investment in transport locally, an MP has said.
Firms from across London will be asked to pay from their business rates from next April, to pay for the high-speed east to west route which will link Heathrow with the City and Canary Wharf.
Kingston companies above a rateable value of £50,000 would be asked to contribute £2.57m in total - 1.4 per cent of the total cost.
Susan Kramer, MP for Richmond Park and north Kingston said: “In return, we must get real investment to solve some of the transport problems we have locally.
“While extensive works are going on at weekends to improve the Tube network, we are seeing very little gain locally.
“The quid pro quo for the support from our area must be more investment to reduce overcrowding, increase train capacity and mitigate the effects of Airtrack on level crossings.”
Last week the Liberal Democrats who control Kingston Council said they were “angered” by the funding proposals, despite a report saying Kingston could reap up to £18.3m from benefits as “better paid” Londoners spend their money in the borough.
In 2004, an official report said the potential cost of the Kingston extension was close to £1bn, effectively ruling out the link.

KHOODEELAAR! dissecting Ben Bradshaw stunt on BBC and the BBC..
0740 Hrs GMT London Thursday 17 September 2009: Editor © Muhammad Haque. KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO! Scrap the BBC Trust! So, even the BBC says so. As read out by the Today programme, just a minute ago. So we say too SCRAP the BBC Trust. It is nothing to do with trust. The BBC has been faking it for years. For decades to be precise. It is time the BBC told the truth about politics, policies and the price people have to pay for the lying holders of positions with alleged power over the ordinary people. The BBC cannot be allowed to keep covering up for the untruthful holders of positions in the state while it tells the truth only as an exception. Telling the truth has got to be the norm. Ben Bradshaw himself fails when he fails to recognise the real deficit of the BBC. Has Bradshaw called for the BBC to start examining his [Bradshaw] own record? Would he dare? Has Bradshaw got the integrity, the ethics and the morality to face up to his cheerleading role as a propaganda peddler for Blair’s war on the innocents? That would be the true test of telling the truth. Just as the BBC has to stop lying so must the Bradshaws of the world of opportunism must be made to face up to their role as the peddlers of lethal lies against uncounted numbers of innocent people… As BOTH sides lack the deep commitment and integrity necessary, both are going to resort to their own side’s excuses and carry on. How can they do so? Because there is no democratic society in Britain. The democracy that there is is a sham one with the participating perpetrators profiting the most from their pretentious parades as they mislead the public…. The BBC has NEVER broken a single major story, despite the claims it permanently displays all over its portals. Even when other sources and organs do the disclosing, the BBC fails to acknowledge those others’ contributions. The BBC has been able to behave in this way because of the arrangement that exists between it and the position-seeking, position-keeping politicians on the one hand and the vested interests and Big Business and their own cabals on the other. Ben Bradshaw has not shown that he even knows the depth of untruth that is the ‘political culture’ of which he is a part and a type. Bradshaw deserves to be made to recognise and tell the truth. But that task is not going to be done by the BBC. Backdoor deals will make sure that the truth is concealed and the public given daily doses of fakery. When the BBC primes the listeners and viewers with the over the top announcements, as it did yesterday [Wednesday 16 September 2009], that David Cameron was about to make yet another epoch-making announcement, it never delivers in fact and on the fact. It never brings any evidence of such epoch making pretensions to any point of truth. Cameron was thus allowed to make a monumentally untruthful claim yesterday about the list of candidates. He did not have to justify the claim. Because the BBC did not interrogate him. And so he got away with the claim that thousands of people from all walks of life applied to become Conservative party MP candidates. He then read out a script that was totally untrue. The impression Cameron gave or the impression he gave of his intention was that ordinary people from across the UK had responded to his call and he had accepted a good number in context. Yet any basic look at the list he spouted out would show that these people were unrepresentative of the ordinary people that Cameron was claiming them to be. The people he identified were even more Tory than the Ca-moroned Tories themselves. So why didn’t the BBC examine that list? The BBC dare not. To question the questionable claims by Cameron would have exposed the BBC to momentarily ‘rigorous’ accusations that it was biased against the Conservatives. The BBC is biased.
That bias is not Party-based. Or ideology-based. It is a bias that is based on the BBC’s bureaucratic need to preserve itself. The BBC has confected a world as based on the leis it has told over decades which is hard for any single Party to undo. Not that there exists any party in the UK that even knows this. There is no Party that would want to undo the BBC’s frame of lies. The utterances by Ben Bradshaw are to be seen in that context. Bradshaw, himself a courier of a curriculum vitae that contains an entry with the BBC in it, is not about telling the truth. His utterance is a stunt. It is about getting the BBC to make a deal that will bring Bradshaw's career ‘gravitas’ and enhancements. For the time being. And then Bradshaw will hope to move on to pastures even more profitable for himself than he has experienced so far. As a career practitioner of the craft of lying, Bradshaw knows where his stunt will land him. He will then strike a deal. That is what he is about. Not about telling the truth. That is why the Today programme played at rigorously questioning the embarrassing chair of the untrustworthy BBC Trust in today's show. Despite Ms Montague’s scripted words of fake objectivity, the item was as bogus as all the other ones that the BBC from time to time indulges in staging about the Corporation. In any case, how could the Trust man be the source of any objective criticism of the Trust and of its role? In the UK Parliament the BBC is given unlimited access to record millions of words of garbage that are uttered by the stooged MPs and peers. Between the stooged ones and the BBC there thus exists this accord of lying for mutual career protection. The stooged ones do not tell the truth and the BBC does not point this out. What the BBC does point out is any sign of real audacity. Anyone in Parliament who shows any audacity against the culture of lying is treated as a suspect. As the BBC did in June 2008 when David Davis, the Ca-moroned Home Affairs shadow, announced that he was resigning as an MP in protest at the 'database' society that Britain was becoming... Davis himself had an agenda. But his personal agenda was far less damaging to any democratic efforts than the damage done to those by the BBC in ‘reporting’ Davis' announcement to step down as MP and force a by-election. The latest in-house fakery icon, James Liedale Landale, embarked instantly on a demolition job against David Davis……[To be continued]

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO! That the Blair-Brown regime’s peddling of the Big Business Crossrail scam could only be explained by the regime’s t being influenced by Big Business!
The Mail on Sunday today [13 September 2009] at page 42 carries only one news item, [and two advertisements] with the news item headlined “Hutton’s job with French nuclear firm he backed in £12.5bn deal”.
Hutton is of course a just-retired [from the cabinet] British Secretary of State for Business! While in post in that capacity, says the Mail on Sunday, Hutton had given the go-ahead for the ‘giant’ French firm EDF “to buy many of Britain’s existing and future nuclear power plants!.
EDF is comparable to the USA conglomerate BECHTEL, which we have been referring to as part of what J K Galbraith diagnosed as the ‘Military Industrial Complex’.
Like the French EDF, the USA-based BECHTEL is playing increasing parts in taking over the UK with the attendant agenda engulfing all key aspects of society and public life. And politics.
Where there is no reason, no justification, no basis, no demand in ordinary sense for a ‘project’ and yet the ‘project’ keeps getting fanatic backing from Govt ministers and ‘on-message’ MPs and Peers, there can only be lobby. Outside influence. And worse.
As the English ‘satirical’ [!] magazine ‘Private Eye’ admitted in a rare display of connection with the truth of what the Blaired regime, fronted by G Brown was getting up to, the ‘Crossrail Bill’ [February 2005 to July 2008] was clinched and rubber-stamped into the ‘Crossrail Act’ [July 2008] under the influence of the same USA conglomerate BECHTEL which exerted that influence through an aide to a former ‘Transport’ Secretary [cabinet Minister in the British Govt, fronted by G Brown by the time the rubber-stamping occurred] Douglas Alexander, reported ‘Private Eye’.
It is notable as we have been noting since ‘Private Eye’ made that one single brief reference to the Crossrail Big Business Military Industrial Complex scam, that ‘Private Eye’ has not published any [other] investigative report on the ‘Crossrail scam’ .
The ‘Dr Beeching’ column, which is a dedicated feature of ‘Private Eye’ reporting on the British railway operators and their many failures and scams, has been given over to issues and failures that are very much smaller than the sum of money and the impact on democracy that Crossrail represents.
Why would ‘PRIVATE EYE’ be so shy on making any substantial and sustained exposé on the Crossrail scam?
By its own published measurements, the ‘Crossrail scam’ contains all the wrongs and misuses and abuses that have been focussed on by ‘Private Eye’ in relation to those hundreds of smaller ‘stories’.
It could not have anything to do with the cushy and cosy commissions and promotions that Ian Hislop receives from the BBC could it?
Or could it have anything to do with the increasingly ‘regal’ appearances and facilities indulged in by the same Hislop, could it?
Shurely not?
We should be told! Surely!
Can we expect the next edition of PRIVATE EYE, scheduled to hit West End newsstands on Tuesday [15 September 2009] , to carry a detailed follow up on the periodicals’ almost reluctant admission on the BECHTEL role in getting the ‘CrossRail scam’ ‘legislated’ via the UK Houses of Parliament?

The ‘Dr Beeching’ column, which is a dedicated feature of ‘Private Eye’ reporting on the British railway operators and their many failures and scams, has been given over to issues and failures that are very much smaller than the sum of money and the impact on democracy that Crossrail represents.
Why would ‘PRIVATE EYE’ be so shy on making any substantial and sustained exposé on the Crossrail scam?
By its own published measurements, the ‘Crossrail scam’ contains all the wrongs and misuses and abuses that have been focussed on by ‘Private Eye’ in relation to those hundreds of smaller ‘stories’.
It could not have anything to do with the cushy and cosy commissions and promotions that Ian Hislop receives from the BBC could it?
Or could it have anything to do with the increasingly ‘regal’ appearances and facilities indulged in by the same Hislop, could it?
Shurely not?
We should be told! Surely!
Can we expect the next edition of PRIVATE EYE, scheduled to hit West End newsstands on Tuesday [15 September 2009] , to carry a detailed follow up on the periodicals’ almost reluctant admission on the BECHTEL role in getting the ‘CrossRail scam’ ‘legislated’ via the UK Houses of Parliament?

Our [the KHOODEELAAR! No to “the Crossrail hole scam agenda” Campaign’s] opposition to the agenda behind the Crossrail scam has been based on a multiplicity of evidential grounds. Unlike the lying propaganda by Big Business CrossRail scam peddlers, we are talking about the real people in the real east End of London. In the East End, the level of education is low. By any objective independent universal standard. The state of social stability is poor. This is linked with economic failures in the local area. The level of antisocial behaviour is acutely high for the ordinary community. These are inter-linked. There is no evidential likelihood in the foreseeable future that of the ordinary demography of Tower Hamlets that is contexed in the past 50 years, the locally raised locally schooled people who are in need of sustained economic opportunities are going to get any mentionable jobs in the construction of the 2012 Olympic Games hosting venues and faculties. We have said that the same applies to CrossRail. And we have shown this for years by regularly updating on the evidence. And we do so this week too. This is the week after the week when the local Tower Hamlets Council again indulged in the grossly unjustified boasts about the ‘GCSE’ results. As always, they have concealed the truth and have presented the results in a way that shows that ALL the young people who have taken the particular exams, have done very well. This lying is part and parcel of the lying agenda that Tower Hamlets Council pursues. This lying is sinking the local ordinary population into unjustified traps of deprivation and underachievement. Crime and anti-social behaviour are the sure results and consequences of this agenda. So why is Tower Hamlets Council able to lie like this?
It can do this because there is no noticeable political factor on the Council that is holding the controlling clique and its propaganda organs to account to the local community. And the so-called independent local paper the ‘East London Idiotiser’ which keeps on about being denied vital advertising revenue by the operation of the Tower Hamlets council’s ‘in house’ ‘East End Lies’, is not helping the cause of holding the Tower Hamlets Council to account. Despite the claims that the East London Idiotiser is independent of the local Tower Hamlets Council, on key issues of politics, of political culture, of economic factors or on issues to do with general issues of concern to the community in East London, the East London Idiotiser is just as corrupt, just as untrustworthy, as unreliable as the controlling clique and its colluding elements on the local Tower Hamlets Council. What the East End Lies does in promoting the fakery and the bogus achievements of the Tower Hamlets Council and in concealing the truth about the unmet needs of the ordinary people in Tower Hamlets, the East London Idiotiser does under only a slightly different cover. There is NEVER even a suggestion in any of the so-called reports as published by the East London Idiotiser on the GCSE results and their equivalents in Tower Hamlets that there is a LARGER NUMBER of pupils and exam-takers who are failing with permanent and lasting deviating effects on their lives and career prospects… Indeed, as there is nothing in EITHER the East London IDIOTISER or in the EAST END LIES about the job cuts affecting some parts of the ‘Tower Hamlets College’ [a name that may suggest that the College is part of Tower Hamlets Council – it is not]. Just as there is no recognition by the ‘East London Idiotiser’ of the jobs cuts threatening the livelihoods of so many so there is no truthful reporting of the same events by the EAST END LIES. Yet the EAST LONDON IDIOTISER claims to be ‘a proper local newspaper’ as compared to the Council-peddling ‘East End Lies’.
The East London Idiotiser is indeed entitled on the evidence to call it’s “a p local newspaper’ when the ‘p’ is ‘prejudiced’ NOT proper. Prejudiced against the truth. Independently objectively verifiably evidentially PREJUDICED local newspaper. For decades – five to be precise – the East London IDIOTOSER has been mis-edited and mis-published in East London. With decreasing relevance or link with the reality, the prejudiced East London Idiotiser has told lies lies and lies. It makes an exception whenever it spies an opportunity that will enable it to keep the business going. This is not a way to run a local newspaper.
Is it any wonder then that the East London Idiotiser has been openly callous in its ‘praise’ of the Crossrail scam-backing Tower Hamlets Council clique? The very ones whom the same East London Idiotiser feigns to criticise, even to condemn for publishing the Idiotiser to extinction by the persistent funding of the 'in-house' propaganda organ ‘East End Lies’?
There is not a single line of difference between the servile stance taken by the ‘East London Idiotiser’ for the Big Business Crossrail scam elements and the position taken by the East End Lies owned and published by the Tower Hamlets Council clique.
Between the two of them, the East End Lies and the East London Idiotiser have been hiding the fact that the Council has been causing new deprivation to the people in the borough as well as adding to the existing deprivation, poverty and denial.
The facts therefore cannot support the assertions by Crossrail peddlers that building that diversionary too

The following is the latest in a series containing literally thousands of KHOODEELAAR! Reports published since July 2004 on the Internet, chronicling the stooping of the UK Parliament by the forces of the Military Industrial Complex that has been peddling the Crossrail scam.
This has been carried in almost identical from by the web site of the Corydon Advertiser today.
Khoodeelaar! Organiser Muhammad Haque posted the commentary this evening:
I have been arguing for almost six years now that the word ‘CrossRail’ is inappropriate. It should be ‘transport’.
Once this inaccuracy is dealt with, there is then no need for ‘CrossRail’. Look at the transport needs of all of London and apply the available money and investment accordingly. This is in line with the reasoning contained in the rod Eddington transport study. That was published by the department for transport in 2006.
Who is Rod Eddington?
None other than the ‘expert’ front man appointed by the then UK finance minister Gordon Brown.
As the USA business publisher FORBES pointed out when rod Eddington published his report, Eddington had not endorsed CROSSRAIL. This central role of the specialist report was later reinforced by channel 4 news in October 2007 who asserted that Gordon Brown’s funding backing for Crossrail was against the advice of Rod Eddington. During the artificial passage of the Crossrail Bill through the two houses of UK parliament February 2005 to July 2008 when it was rubber-stamped into the ‘Crossrail Act’ ALL evidence of the damaging effects of Crossrail were barred from being submitted to the ‘Crossrail Bill Select Committees’ that were set up, for show, in the UK House of Commons and then in the UK House of Lords. Hundreds of officially listed objectors were prevented from submitting evidence of the wastes, the losses that Crossrail would cause. I represented the objections of thousands who signed a series of documents showing the wastefulness and ill effects of the Crossrail scam. Others who filed objections were concerned about a host of serious issues. Those ranged from economic, environmental, and social to fiscal and vitally included evidence showing the IRRELEVANCE of Crossrail to the transport needs of people in and around London. A de facto ban was also imposed on the mainstream media. With the exception of that one item on Channel 4 news in October 2007, there was no mainstream, sustained report about the negative effects of Crossrail in any of the ‘mainstream’ media. During 2007-2008, I took part in the on-line commentary on the London Times and to lesser extents on the other publications, about Crossrail. But at crucial points, the relevant media censored the comments thus making it impossible for their readers to get the full facts. One-sided propaganda for Crossrail touts and agents was dominating in the mainstream. Only this year 2009 have they begun to publish any serious criticism of Crossrail. These have included the London EVENING STANDARD piece on 28 April 2009 by Simon Jenkins who belatedly recognised some of the key flaws of Crossrail. The ECONOMIST magazine too has now published an almost identical piece highlighting the fact that Crossrail is in essence a diversion of resources needed for the upgrading of the dilapidated existing London rail and tube networks…

Croydon businesses question how Crossrail will benefit them

Businesses in Croydon and across south London are being asked to say if they support a hike in their rates to pay for the proposed new Crossrail rail link.
The £15.9 billion line will link Maidenhead, Berkshire, in the west to Shenfield, Essex, in the east passing through Heathrow Airport, the West End, the City of London and Canary Wharf on the way.
Backers say the link will bring £36bn worth of benefits to the economy.
But companies in Croydon have joined others in south London to question how they will gain from the new rail line as only a short link to Woolwich and Abbey Wood runs south of the Thames.
Those concerns have been heightened by the announcement from Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, that all businesses in the capital with a rateable value of more than £50,000 will face a 2p in the pound rise in their rate bills from next April.
This will help go towards the overall costs of the project, construction of which is due to start next year.
Croydon-based South London Business (SLB) - which provides support to companies in the area - has now launched an online survey to get a picture of the true feeling of companies towards Crossrail.
Chief executive Peter Pledger, said the organisation in Sydenham Road, fully supported investment in the rail network and was sure it would benefit London as a whole.
But he said he had concerns about the effects of the increase in business rate bills.
"The announcement of an extra tax on business in the middle of a recession is unlikely to be welcomed by the business community," Mr Pledge explained.
He added: "There is an indication from businesses in south London that they feel that the amount they will pay will outweigh the amount of benefit they will get from Crossrail.
"In some companies the extra bill could run into tens of thousands of pounds."
Mr Pledger told the Advertiser the aim of SLB's survey was to gauge businesses' opinions on the increase and to get ideas on whether there were different ways in which the link could be funded.
The results, he said, would be fed back directly to the Mayor.
SLB itself will be urging the Mayor and Transport for London to consider alternative funding methods.
Mr Pledger said issues had been raised about the fact that areas at both the Maidenhead and Shenfield ends of the line, which could be expected to benefit from a new link to the centre of London, were not being asked to pay anything towards the cost.
He said: "Spreading the cost a bit wider would be one way of reducing the bills being faced by companies in London."

The case for crossrail has NOT been made. Anyone wanting to get from the West End to, say Docklands, has the river. This is a woefully underutilised transport thoroughfare, with enormous development potential.
The direct financial cost of Crossrail (the extra 2p in the £) and the indirect cost of the ensuing disruption to passengers and commerce alike is eye-watering for the benefits it is said to bring. The huge sums would have been better spent improving existing transport infrastructure south of the river, to provide an incentive for us all to leave our cars at home and use public transport.
It is the same with Thameslink 2000. Swathes of historic London being swept away, so that a few ATOC member companies and their directors can make even more money. So it is that we are losing much of Borough Market for a complete white elephant.

The South East of England has been paying for the rest of the country for decades. A small part of London will benefit from the Olympics yet all Londoners are paying extra money towards it (will there even be a single event south of the Thames?). Lets face it, taxes are never "fair". If we all only paid in for things we would benefit from the rich wouldn't need to pay more than the rest of us.

Well of course you wont actually be able to get on a train in Croydon, but the impact on Croydon will be significant. It will make travel across London so much easier and relieve congestion for everyone.
Therefore it WILL DIRECTLY help Croydon, but we wont have the building work to put up with it.
I don't live anywhere near a tram stop, but the tram benefits me and the town that I live in.
Once completed, I will be able to get a train to London and on to Heathrow in less than an hour - hassle free. Now that is a direct benefit!

Crossrail will benefit those travelling long distance and having to get across London to connect with transport services on the other side of London. I dont think it will have any positive effect on local business at all. As there is no connections at all near Croydon - it wont benefit us at all.

Why should Croydon's economy suffer because of a project that would not benefit us at all. First they cancel our tram extension, and now we're being forced to pay for something that won't benefit us whatsoever, without getting anything in return. City hall doesn't care about south London, and something needs to be done about it.

Stop moaning. The rest of us have to pay taxes for things we do not use or receive. Men pay more tax than women to the NHS for example, but the service they provide is directed at women.

Those concerns have been heightened by the announcement from Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, that all businesses in the capital with a rateable value of more than £50,000 will face a 2p in the pound rise in their rate bills from next April.
This will help go towards the overall costs of the project, construction of which is due to start next year.
Croydon-based South London Business (SLB) - which provides support to companies in the area - has now launched an online survey to get a picture of the true feeling of companies towards Crossrail.
Chief executive Peter Pledger, said the organisation in Sydenham Road, fully supported investment in the rail network and was sure it would benefit London as a whole.
But he said he had concerns about the effects of the increase in business rate bills.
"The announcement of an extra tax on business in the middle of a recession is unlikely to be welcomed by the business community," Mr Pledge explained.
He added: "There is an indication from businesses in south London that they feel that the amount they will pay will outweigh the amount of benefit they will get from Crossrail.
"In some companies the extra bill could run into tens of thousands of pounds."
Mr Pledger told the Advertiser the aim of SLB's survey was to gauge businesses' opinions on the increase and to get ideas on whether there were different ways in which the link could be funded.
The results, he said, would be fed back directly to the Mayor.
SLB itself will be urging the Mayor and Transport for London to consider alternative funding methods.
Mr Pledger said issues had been raised about the fact that areas at both the Maidenhead and Shenfield ends of the line, which could be expected to benefit from a new link to the centre of London, were not being asked to pay anything towards the cost.
He said: "Spreading the cost a bit wider would be one way of reducing the bills being faced by companies in London."

I have been arguing for almost six years now that the word ‘crossrail’ is inappropriate. It should be ‘transport’. Once this inaccuracy is dealt with, there is then no need for ‘crossrail’. look at the transport needs of all of London and apply the available money and investment accordingly. this is in line with the reasoning contained in the rod Eddington transport study. that was published by the department for transport in 2006. who is Rod Eddington? none other than the ‘expert’ front man appointed by the then UK finance minister Gordon brown. as the USA business publisher FORBES pointed out when rod Eddington published his report, Eddington had not endorsed CROSSRAIL. this central role of the specialist report was later reinforced by channel 4 news in October 2007 who asserted that Gordon Brown’s funding backing for Crossrail was against the advice of Rod Eddington. During the artificial passage of the Crossrail Bill through the two houses of UK parliament February 2005 to July 2008 wqhen it was rubber-stamped into the ‘Crossrail Act’ ALL evidence of the damaging effects of Crossrail were barred from being submitted to the ‘Crossrail Bill Select Committees’ pthat were on papoer created in the House of Commons and later in the House of Lords. So hundreds of officially listed objectors were prevented from submitting evidence of the wastes, the losses that Crossrail would cause. I represented the objections of thosunads who signed a series of doements showing the wastefulness and ill effects of the Crossrail scam. Others who filed objections were concerrned about a host oif serious issues. Those ranged from economic, environmental, social to fiscal and vitally included evience showing the IRRELEVANCE of Crossrail to the transport needs of people in and around London. A de facto ban was also imposed on the mainstream media. With the exception of that one item on Channel 4 news in October 2007, there was no mainstream, sustained reports about the negative effects of Crossrail in any of the ‘mainstream’ media. During 2007-2008, I took part in the on-line commentary on the London Times and to lesser extents on the other publications, about Crossrail. But at crucial points, the relevant media censored the comments thus making it impossible for their readers to get the full facts. One sideed propaganda for Crossrail touts and agents was dominating in the mainstream. Only this year 2009 have they begun to publish any serious criticism of Crossrail. These have included the London EVENING STANDARD piece on 28 April 2009 by Simon Jenkins who belatedly recognised some of the key flaws of Crossrail. The ECONOMIST magazine too has now publshed an almost identical piece higligting the fact that Crossrail is in essence a diversion of resources needed for the upgading of the delapidated existsing London rail and tube networks…

The case for crossrail has NOT been made. Anyone wanting to get from the West End to, say Docklands, has the river. This is a woefully underutilised transport thoroughfare, with enormous development potential.
The direct financial cost of Crossrail (the extra 2p in the £) and the indirect cost of the ensuing disruption to passengers and commerce alike is eye-watering for the benefits it is said to bring. The huge sums would have been better spent improving existing transport infrastructure south of the river, to provide an incentive for us all to leave our cars at home and use public transport.
It is the same with Thameslink 2000. Swathes of historic London being swept away, so that a few ATOC member companies and their directors can make even more money. So it is that we are losing much of Borough Market for a complete white elephant.

The South East of England has been paying for the rest of the country for decades. A small part of London will benefit from the Olympics yet all Londoners are paying extra money towards it (will there even be a single event south of the Thames?). Lets face it, taxes are never "fair". If we all only paid in for things we would benefit from the rich wouldn't need to pay more than the rest of us.

Well of course you wont actually be able to get on a train in Croydon, but the impact on Croydon will be significant. It will make travel across London so much easier and relieve congestion for everyone.
Therefore it WILL DIRECTLY help Croydon, but we wont have the building work to put up with it.
I don't live anywhere near a tram stop, but the tram benefits me and the town that I live in.
Once completed, I will be able to get a train to London and on to Heathrow in less than an hour - hassle free. Now that is a direct benefit!

Crossrail will benefit those travelling long distance and having to get across London to connect with transport services on the other side of London. I dont think it will have any positive effect on local business at all. As there is no connections at all near Croydon - it wont benefit us at all.

Why should Croydon's economy suffer because of a project that would not benefit us at all. First they cancel our tram extension, and now we're being forced to pay for something that won't benefit us whatsoever, without getting anything in return. City hall doesn't care about south London, and something needs to be done about it.

Stop moaning. The rest of us have to pay taxes for things we do not use or receive. Men pay more tax than women to the NHS for example, but the service they provide is directed at women.
