KHOODEELAAR! evidentially putting in context UK Con Party's 'transport' affairs MP Theresa Villiers: she is up against a Party of Big Biz touts

This link has been taken from a UK Con party blog and is being carried here only as a reference item.

http://playpolitical.typepad.com/uk_conservative/2009/11/theresa-villiers-promise-fewer-traffic-lights-and-better-roads-management-in-pledge-to-motorists.html

This item is part of the evidence that we shall be referring to and citing to illustrate the point that Dave Cameron’s UK Con Party is no different now than when Theresa May had suffered its nasty state.

This weekend, we notice the UK Con Party having a go at their current frontbencher on transport in the House of Commons. They are having a go at Theresa Villiers because she is refusing to utter like a moron the zombie lines that the touts of Big Business in the Palace of Ghostsminster are expected to utter and express their allegiance to the authoritarian cult controlling the Executive and the shallow Parliament in Britain propelling the agenda behind the CRASSRail scam.

Villiers may yet be overwhelmed by career considerations before any scheduled general elections in the UK and she too may come unplugged just like the Lib Dems’ Vince Cable did [at Bethnal Green on 15 October 2009, as we have been exclusively reporting and dissecting] on where she and ‘her Party’ stood on the crass Crossrail.

As we have been showing since 2004, the peddlers of Crossrail are irrational and dishonest. And they are at it again inside the Dave Cameron Con Party as they have been inside the Vince Cable Unplugged Party. Just as they have been inside the Blaired Party!

Do the over-the-top-macho-byting UK Con Party ‘bloggers’ realise that it is still early days to utter as if they have ‘got back’ ‘in power’?

If there is any UK Con Party blogger who still has some semblance of familiarity with reality then they are not showing. Most of the UK Con Party bloggers are die-hard reactionaries and intolerants who will not make society better at all of they are the ones that grab the pillars and hold the posts come an actual election letting them in.

And notwithstanding the latest display of idiocy in asking the Rees-Mogg family to tone down their own brand of brazenness, David ‘Dave’ Cameron is not showing real signs that he will mend ‘the broken society’.

The lunacy that the UK CON party is showing is not going to bring an end to aggressive postures internationally nor is it going to make things rational domestically.

Not if the idiotic frenetic zealous fanatic subservience to the Military Industrial Complex and the dictates of BECHTEL disguised as ‘electorally trendy’ [now that one we shall examine in some detail soon] ploys is anything to go by.

And the pathetic shamelessness in the UK Con Party – which is still gloating of Thatcher and her jingoistic records at home and abroad – posing as the Party of ‘mending society’ via the ‘offices of IDS’ cannot be got across without actually remembering how that Party broke society in the past and how it will smash what remains of society in the future.

How is that going to be proven?

Take a look at ‘Dave’ ‘Eton-Bullingdon Club’ Cameron’s treatment of David Davis in June 2008. Davis was the Party’s Home Affairs front man in the UK House of Commons when he made the startling announcement that he was quitting as an MP and seeking re-election as a tangible protest against the erosion of civil liberties and other attacks on society. What did ‘Dave’ do and say? He DISTANCED himself from Davis and said as much as he could to confirm his distance. His main sentence uttered within minutes of being told that Davis had actually held an impromptu ‘News Conference’ at an entrance to the ‘Palace of Westminster’ outlining his reasons for resigning, was about his [Eaton-Bullingdon Club ‘Dave’] priority of ‘leading the Party’!

NOT one word about the core cause that Davis had cited.

And in the weeks that followed that and throughout the period of the by-election chatter, neither “Bullingdon Club’ Dave nor any of his cohorts found the time or the reason to elaborate on the Davis 'manifesto'.

The UK Con Party ‘led’ by Dave [!!!!] Cameron said as little as they could manage without coming across to the lowest common denominator of the brainwashed members of the electorate that they were in fact condemning Davis for daring to question the authoritarian trend in UK society which G Brown was aggravating and backing.

It is not a surprise then that the same Cameron gang BACKED the CRASSrail scam in BOTH Houses as it was passaged and massaged against the evidence. That the CRASSrail scam is exposed even by the OTHER ‘rational’ utterances on ‘economics’, and ‘finance’ by Cameron’s gangsters is not an irony that either Cameron or any of his gangsters is capable of noticing.

IF the Cameron gang do get in after any scheduled elections, one thing will definitely get worse: any so-called ‘parliamentary scrutiny of the executive’

KHOODEELAAR! exposing the lies of the Crossrail scam agenda-inviting Blairing clique 'in Tower Hamlets': Oona King's plug as of October 2003

CONTINUING the exclusive AADHIKARonline report on our investigation into the corruption package that is Crossrail as it ahs been foisted on the inner city East End of London:

Remember Oona King? We return to her peddling of Crossrail as far back as October 2003:

When we began the actual camapgn against the Crossrail scam Big Business agenda assault on the East End of London, we did so on the assumption that those who had been in 'elected posts’ in the name of ‘wards’ and ‘constituencies’ based in Tower Hamlets, would have the decency and the sense to confess to any 'errors' on their parts in the context of the Big Business scam we were about to examine, dissect and expose.

The 'elected post holders’ obviously included the 'local' 'constituency' 'MP'. One by the name of Oona King, a most frequently cited embodiment of whatever any 'Blair Babe' was supposed to be.

In the period between January 2004 when the Khoodeelaar! Campaign began and the time in may 2005 when the ‘voters’ rejected Oona King, we had given her plenty of opportunities to make her position clear on CRASSRail.

She failed to do so.

She neglected to do so.

What she did do was to continue to behave in a way that discredited all claims to being worthy of serious recognition if her conduct warranted it.

People in the 'constituency' were reporting increasing tendencies on Oona King's part to being quite light. In almost all senses of that word. In context.

Whether the people in the community reporting this behaviour knew it at the time of their comments cannot be verified. But evidence that the KHOODEELAAR! Campaign has been uncovering and is publishing here for the first time today [Saturday 28 November 2009] includes a two page A4 piece of paper called 'parliamentary report' marked 'from Oona King MP October 2003'.

Here we exclusively reproduce the full texts of the bit headed 'Crossrail':

"I think it is vital that we continue to improve public transport, and the Crossrail project will bring real benefits for people in this part of London. There was a debate in Westminster Hall on Crossrail this week, and I pressed for an assurance that this improvement in transport links would be properly funded.”

We shall be dissecting this two-sentence idiocy and fabrication in due detail in the next days and weeks.

We say that what was said in that piece in Oona King’s name had already been said in what Michael Keith had said in a paid-for ‘letter’ carried in the LONDON EVENING STANDARD in June 2003.

So, Oona King was referring to a ‘meeting’ ‘in Westminster Hall’ in October 2003 that could not have been the ‘first such meeting’ but a continuation of the lobby by Big Business which had used the ‘position’ of Michael Keith on Tower Hamlets Council three months previously.

Neither Oona King nor Michael Keith has ever produced any evidence of any demand for Crossrail by ordinary London passengers and public. What they have uttered and peddled has been exactly the same stuff that has come only from the City of London and the cabal that surrounded and constituted Ken Livingstone’s Big Business propaganda operation from ****** Hall in London SE1 [upto end of April 2008]

That aspect has now been taken over by BorisKen [as Anne McElvoy has called Boris Johnson].

KHOODEELAAR! action update on the distortion and lying by the corrupt clique controlling the UK Indymedia outlets

2355 GMT
London
Friday 27 Nov 2009

By © Muhammad Haque

The following is an item from the UK Indymedia where I had posted it on 15 November 2006

The following [main post about ‘council housing stock transfer’] post was noticed on the UK Indymedia with the name of Mike Wells.

Mr Wells has often appeared at Khoodeelaar! demonstrations, sometimes claiming to be from the 'East London Advertiser', at other times claiming to be from nowhere in particular. Khoodeelaar! events have not been subsequently reported as linked with his activities.

Except on one occasion in June 2006. But the post below which Mr Wells placed [we assume] left out any political references to any active organisation or campaign ort movement including Khoodeelaar!

Without those references, the piece looks out of place. Because the reality on the ground is very different from the obviously partisan one painted in the 'Mike Wells' post on Indymedia.

So, I posted a comment asking for the acknowledgement of the Khoodeelaar! movement in context. That has been distorted in the past 24 hours by the usual racists controlling the UK Indymedia. Whether there has been any active or tacit contribution by 'Mr Wells' or by any of the partisan elements his post has promoted, in that racist distortion is not yet confirmed.

But the matter is under investigation and AADHIKAR online will be following it up in the next days or weeks and beyond.

Khoodeelaar! Told you so! Poverty-creating agenda behind Big Business looters’ scam Crossrail continues to get passage and promoted by the inane part of UK ‘mainstream’ politics.

The Lib Dems in Camden, as we briefly referred to in the last editions. And despite today’s print edition of the CPGB running a ‘two-page’ ‘feature’ or ‘spread’ on the banality of the Nick Clegg Lib Dems Party, they have not, the Morning Scar that is, produced anything of any substance whatever. As always is the case in the KHOODEELAAR! Campaign lexicon the use of the term ‘substance’ is in the universal objective sense.

So here is Khoodeelaar! noting and reiterating – on this occasion in the UK of the second of the two Eids being observed across the country – that the POVERTY of the UK G Brown ‘administration’ is its deep, deep ignorance and the callousness with which it fakes its every ‘new’ stunt that is then exposed as bereft of all sense, universally, logically, ethically materially and evidentially speaking. On the day when the ‘news’ broke – though we have continuously predicted the MAIN economic paralysis for SIX YEARS now – that another dam in the zone of recovery-fakery built by the imprudent indulgence in debts-accumulation was going bust in Dubai, the GB regime carries on faking it.

This is not a case of a one off incidental ore accidental denial. It is the case or even ‘a’ case of monumental stupidity that has no regard for the catastrophic social and international consequences… Creating any facade based on lies fuelled by intent to stay in power cannot be acceptable in democracy. Ooooooooops! It must therefore be a dummocracy. And here is comes Mr Clegg. He has nothing to offer.

And nor has his deputy Vince Cable. Cable utters more like an agent of the allegedly ‘decent’ [that term will be examined in relation to Vince Cable and in context, here in due course] wing of the looters Empire… He makes it ‘attractive’. Only to a limited extent. Marginal, diminishing extents. They do not want to learn. Ignorance is bliss. Moving on to look for something else that might ‘show the way’, we find ourselves left in the dark. LEFT in the darkness of the empty British Left. And the left is extinct. Not that the ‘Left’ in Britain EVER existed as an alternative. For it is in fact a brazenly corrupt wing of the alleged socialist ‘alternative’ to the ‘mainstream’ system…

When Dubai goes bust, what do the ‘left’ come up with? Nothing. And the left is bankrupt not only on the ‘economic front’, although the ‘area’, ‘discipline’ of economics’ itself is a confection. Without society, without morality, without the universal context, no disciple can either indicate the truth let alone led to the truth. And it is the truth that is absent. Lies built on lies can lead only to more lies. And the ‘British Left’ is in denial; it is lying when it makes selective allegations. It leaves out the main picture and focusses on bits that suit its limited vision. This is clear in its ‘attack’ on the emptiness of Nick Clegg’s Lib Dumbs Party. The Morning Scar does not call that Party Lib Dumbs. The Khoodeelaar! Campaign does and has. It is one of the analytical devices that we have created….

If the Lib Dems are dumb then the ‘left’ trade unions are just as dumb, if not more so…Which takes us via the RMT’s ‘Wapping-born’ Bob Crow to the west of London MP and Ken Livingstone’s deputy in the 1980s at the ‘GLC’ John McDonnell. [To be continued]

KHOODEELAAR! Exposing the latest CROSSRAIL lie about 'achieving a near £1Bn loan' from EIB and the Andreas Whittam-S's ignorant INDEPENDENT [1]

2205 Hrs GMT
London Wednesday
25 November 2009
Editor © Muhammad Haque

When Andreas Whittam-Smith gloated of his ‘Independent’ in that stupidly infantile ‘catchphrase’ ‘It is. Are you?’ the gloating assault constituted a serious immorality.

For nothing in Whittam-S’s RECORD had warranted that gloat. What is worse, the cheer-leading fellow-travelling fakers of ‘Fleet Street’ in that now ridiculously vintaged decade in London, knew that they were peddling a lie as they engaged in that sick season. It was intolerable to witness the obscene gloating and placing of Whittam-S’s boast.

Nothing in the sickly ignorant ‘newspaper’ justified that gloat. Not in the year of its launching and not since.

And despite the marginal ground for tolerance created by one or more offspring of Claud and Patricia Cockburn, the Independent continues to remain moribund and aimless.

The depth of the aimlessness is in the facts of the peddling it keeps doing,. Bechtel, the real force behind the Crossrail scam could not have wished for a more pliant supplicant.

Whittam S’s ‘professional, journalistic [!!!!]’ epitaph should be written in an original confession and a LASTING apology to all the people who were ever taken in by the original lie.

The immorality the crassness and the corruption that the Independent now typifies is of course the tip of the iceberg of lies, fraud and deception that is ‘Fleet Street’.

Contrary to the mythology now being peddled by Paul Dacre [who is in effect helping to sink the Whittam-S title by ‘hosting’ it so ominously] about a ‘free press’, the story of ‘Fleet Street’ is the story of the ‘Street of Fraud’.

And the latest round of lies being promoted as ‘news’ and ‘fresh news’ by the Independent about Crossrail’s debts – in fact Transport for London’s ill-conceived act of incompetence shows that not only are the CRASSrole-players in denial but also that those who ought to know and who are supposed to be there to hold these peddlers to account are sleeping too.

And that includes the likes of Mike Tuffrey on the awful London Assembly of sleepwalkers.

Tuffrey is the one who almost regained consciousness a few months ago around one or more forgettable mishaps attaching to the chief tout of Big Business Boris Johnson. But as is historically the case, Tuffrey vanished again. Back to the safety of the hole of ignorance non-commitment that he has made a career in.

How else could Tuffrey’s lot let the likes of that transparent faker Val Shawcross appear almost thoughtful?

Transport is the big looting arena. And the looters are robbing the London public daily. Yet none of the paid placemen and women is upto the job of exposing them. They are not even able to notice what is going on.

And that is where the latest lie for Crossrail is being allowed to gain plausibility before it becomes almost accepted.

The lie that getting the public more into debt is an achievement!

What kind of economics is that!

How is that a world class act?

Unless of course like everything else about Crossrail, they really mean World CRASS?

Christine Gilbert is quite upbeat this week. Or so she would have wanted to appear. This is the same Christine Gilbert who is in the Daily Mail and the other ‘mainstream’ ‘[what a fake that phrase is. More on that at an appropriate stage later] papers published in London this morning.

And in their regional counterparts elsewhere in ‘England and Wales’ [Anomalies and banalities disguised as ‘constitutional arrangements’] featured as the alleged sharp critic of failures by schools across ‘England’.

The Daily Mail does not say it but the INDEPENDENT manages to fake a critical note on Gilbert herself. The Daily Telegraph group carries a headline a bit nearer the truth on this.

It uses the phrase ‘jack of all trade’ to describe the current [frenetic, media-cultivating] state of OFSTED which we interpret as being linked with Christine Gilbert’s ‘confidence’ that she is able to ‘dare her pupils’ almost in a way that Chris Woodhead had done before her. In the years between the end of Woody [a term of ‘endearment’ ! used by Nicky Campbell now on Radio 5 to describe the man] C Woodhead’s term and the start of C Gilbert’s, there have been a few holders of that post.

All of THOSE were more racist in their role than either Woody had been or Christine Gilbert has been so far.

But there the ‘distinction’ vanishes. In their roles, EVERY OFSTED INSPECTOR hid the truth and peddled packs of lies. Christine’s pack is most suited to her need to stay afloat. Given the sea of sleaze that has surrounded her regime in the recent times, it is not surprising that Ms Gilbert has to assert her very own island of independence defying the sea that has so frequently threatened to engulf her not so long ago. …

And that is even before revisiting her role as the very controversial holder of the post of chief executive in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the very Council where the controlling clique operated through her help to INVITE the Crossrail holes Big Business scam agenda assaults on the East End of London

This new campaign has the right ideas. I have argued for some time that the transport needs of regions were much more important than the obsessively promoted 'case' for Crossrail. Those who claim that Crossrail is more important than the unmet transport needs of East of England or those of other regions miss the very important point: that economic activities must go on in all parts. And struggling transport in regions means struggling economic activities or not much at all. Not just in London. And even in London, there is increasing evidence that ordinary people never asked for Crossrail. Something very secretive is going on about Crossrail. Only this past week, people in Richmond have again complained about Boris Johnson imposing a Crossrail tax. And in Soho, small businesses are being wiped out to make way for Crossrail. Neither Parliament nor the people have seen any evidence that this is a wise way. As the Lib Dems MP Norman Baker has discovered, the secretive and very strange forces for Crossrail are saying that the British public must pay for it or we would have already wasted over £1bn spent on preparations. Don't they realise that Crossrail will add to business taxes and other liabilities to be paid over 30 years or more? By that time, the wasted sum will exceed £30Bn, not just £1bn. Pumping public money into a wasting Crossrail is not at all Prudent!

Campaign to boost rail services

A CAMPAIGN has been set up to increase investment in the railways across Essex.

Regional Cities East, a pressure group which includes Southend and Colchester, is pressing for improvements to the infrastructure across the region, rather than just spending money on major improvements such as Crossrail.

Director of Regional Cities East, Neil Darwin, said: “Smaller cities will be vital to the country’s recovery from recession, but only if the right type of rail capacity is in place to serve them.”

John Lamb, Southend councillor in charge of regeneration, said he supported the plans.

He added: “If we are to become greener, we need to encourage people to leave their cars behind and use public services, and unless the facilities are improved, this won’t happen.”

Over the coming months, the campaign will hold a parliamentary seminar discussing the infrastructure needs of smaller cities, and a Westminster event, where ministers will answer questions on transport policy.

The aims are to improve journey times, increase carriage capacity, secure more investment in track infrastructure and improve stations and trains.

KHOODEELAAR! Examining the roles of the East End Lies, Lambeth Lies, East London Idiotiser, South London Press and ITV London Tonight [3]

As we continue to examine the CURRENT role of the various relevant ‘local press’ in London, including the ITV London Tonight programme, it is contextually relevant to look at what we have been saying about these outlets over the past 6 years of the campaign against the CrossRail Big Business scam agenda,

We here [below] republish the post we had originally published on 10 June 2006 on our web sites as well as on the UK Indymedia sites. In that post we examined the then crass role-played by the CROSSRAIL-scam-peddling London EVENING nostandards STANDARD. We also of course discussed at length the role of Christine Gilbert, still the chief executive at the Crossrail scam-agenda-inviting Tower Hamlets Council.

OFSTED - East London lesson for Cronying Tony Blair – Drop Christine

Editor © Muhammad Haque | 10.06.2006 18:18 | Analysis | Social Struggles
This version has been edited at 1558 GMT London Sunday 22 November 2009

The Khoodeelaar! campaign against the Crossrail hole Bill - Blair’s de facto salvaging of the career of Christine Gilbert via the Ofsted appointment is only significant as a peripheral indicator of how immoral his decision making is, contrary to the routine professions that he is at all a morally active ethically laudable decision maker… the central lesson is that his judgement is seriously flawed and that he is as anti-democratic and unconstitutional on this one as he has been on all key issues of the day in his 'premiership'.. Blair’s recent acknowledgement that the CrossRail bill [now in the uk house of commons] had to be ‘handled sensibly’ showed the latest public confirmation that our campaign against Crossrail bill was affecting him and his unaccountable entourage.

Khoodeelaar! has been leading the campaign for both democratic accountability as well as for moral and ethical accountability from the elected holders of office in the inner city east end of London. This week's announcement that the chief officer in tower hamlets council was leaving was accompanied by another announcement of breathtaking immorality from Tony Blair’s establishment. Blair’s de facto salvaging of the career of Christine Gilbert via the Ofsted appointment is only significant as a peripheral indicator of how immoral his decision making is, contrary to the routine professions that he is at all a morally active ethically laudable decision maker… the central lesson is that his judgement is seriously flawed and that he is as anti-democratic and unconstitutional on this one as he has been on all key issues of the day in his 'premiership'.. Blair’s recent acknowledgement that the CrossRail bill [now in the uk house of commons] had to be ‘handled sensibly’ showed the latest public confirmation that our campaign against Crossrail bill was affecting him and his unaccountable entourage. Weeks earlier, he had conceded that the CrossRail bill was proving an unexpected liability when he was forced to shunt the CrossRail bill minister Alistair Darling off to the dti [=DtI= the UK central Government Department of or for Industry, which has now, as known at the date of this edition at 1555 GMT London Sunday 22 November 2009 - been thoroughly re-named and dis-named to accommodate Gordon Brown's 'ally' Peter Mandelson] . He brought in a most unsuitable replacement in the form of Douglas Alexander, who has no manifest democratic credentials to warrant any different treatment from the campaign against CrossRail hole bill than had applied to his predecessor in post. Blair has now shown a third admission that the CrossRail bill is in trouble. He has got London mayor ken Livingstone to mount a counter to the khoodeelaar! Campaign against Crossrail hole bill Livingstone has teamed up with his apparent adversary, the monopoly London evening ‘newspaper’ the evening standard. But neither the EVENING STANARD editorial [2nd in a month] aimed at Gordon Brown nor the full-page puff for Crossrail-hole-Ken makes any economic sense. The Crossrail hole Bill plugs are full of ‘planned economic growth’ and ‘planned benefits’ but they are way out of sync with the actual economic analysis. The UK economy is NOT growing. The world economic trends also discourage any hocus pocus exaggeration that Ken Livingstone is prone to making There is no justification for the CrossRail hole line because the EXISTING railway infrastructure can be maintained and improved and added to with less cost to the pubic purse and within a shorter time than would be the case if a CrossRail line were to be constructed. That is the general objection.

The local East End economy has no need for it. No demand for it. And the CrossRail hole station at Whitechapel will NOT serve the local east End economic. It will be a link to take over the Eats End . By people who will target the area for economic takeover. Those facts are being confirmed again by some of the disclosures being heard before the formally sitting Crossrail Bill select committee. The more facts get confirmed, the more substance is lent to the Khoodeelaar! Campaign for the scrapping of the CrossRail hole Bill.

Khoodeelaar! Continuing the updater dissection of the 'East End Lies', 'East London Idiotiser', ‘ITV London Tonight', the London ‘EVENING STANDARD’, ‘Lambeth Lies’, ‘South London Press’...[2]

What these outlets have in common is that they are operated to hide the truth, to perpetuate the state of denial that their contrivers, controllers want to inflict on the public in their specific region, area and part of London.

By that definition therefore these outlets are intended to be empty and they are empty.

This is why campaigns like KHOODEELAAR! have to come – and be brought - into being in order to bring out the truth of what is happening to the rights and the lives and the livelihood of people in communities in particular parts of London.

As we have been chronicling in print, by speech and by street based action and online for nearly six years now in the KHOODEELAAR! Campaign against the CrossRail, holes cam AGENDA; we have also shown in that programme the deficiencies not only in the behaviour of the elected holders of office locally, regionally and centrally in the UK but the utter bankruptcy in the publishing agenda of the ‘local media’.

In the past week, we have reported on the London EVENING STANDARD’s ‘discovery’ that the SOHO area in central London was witnessing the first of a huge assault by Crossrail peddlers on the livelihoods of small business people..…

We have said this for years and the London EVCEBING STANDARD has failed to even acknowledge this fact let alone carry reports or features on the unique and the comprehensive programme of analysis, dissection and accurate forecasts and contextual predictions that we have made.

Every significant thing that we have contextually pointed out about the wasteful debts-creating Crossrail scam has already come true.

AN AADHIKARonline investigative report [1]

The malaise of unaccountability and corruption that the Tower Hamlets Council-controlled 'free' 'newspaper' 'East End Life' represents has now reached the Borough of Lambeth.

According to a report carried on the ITV London Tonight programme last night [Friday 20 November 2009], the disease is ruining the business of the local paid-for printed newspaper the SOUTH LONDON PRESS [=SLP].

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD LAMBETH people so! How? For years we have campaigned across London to hold the local ‘councillors’ to account to the local community.

We even gave the benefit of our campaign findings and materials to the SOUTH LONDON PRESS to publish.

And did they?

Most empoahtucally NOT…

What does THAT remind us of? Why UK Lib Dems’ Party’s OTT-hyped ‘deputy leader’ Vince Cable’s Chair’ of ceremonies as staged at the Oxford House in Bethnal Green on 15 October 2009, Malcolm Star********!

Of course and his ‘local newspaper’ the East London Idiotiser…

Contrary to the lame mythology broadcast in the package as fronted by ITV London staffer Phil Bayles, the SOUTH LONDON PRESS has NOT lived up to any record of its ancient past.

It has been a long time since the SLP has broken a genuinely locally important story…

The SLP is more like the East London Idiotiser than Phil Bayles may have understood as he let the mastheads of Council-controlled lies sheets roll past behind the image of his person facing the video cameras.

Phil Bayles has scarcely much to be proud of by way of independent reporting of events in London. He is a placeman, of considerable years fronting bulletins on the London Tonight slot, who does what mechanically is orchestrated by his arrangers…

That package he fronted yesterday was not new nor did it contain any news. Not really. The ‘local papers’ trade outfits have been going on about how they are losing out because the Councils are now running ads in their own 'in-house' free sheet propaganda outfits…This is damaging the revenue of the ‘commercially independent’ titles like the SLP and the ‘ELA’….

The real test is: who is telling the truth to and about the local communities in each area?

KHOODEELAAR! examining the role of the Daily Telegraph, “the pioneer paper on Mps’ fiddles” in shielding Crossrail scam-backer Boris Johnson

We have been asking why the Daily Telegraph won't publish a report by Celia Walden into Boris Johnson’s brain. The question arises from the ‘role’ the Daily Telegraph has played in the reporting of MPs’ expenses claims and other fiddles. And it also arises from what Celia Walden herself said – or attempted to say – on the BBC News Channel ‘newspaper slot’ under the nervous and irrational interference and impositions by fronter Chris Ekin. The main link between this Walden [her father being George Walden, of the Daily Telegraph-backed UK CON party] and the Daily Telegraph, is the fact Celia Walden CAN delve quite factually and informatively into a subject if she sets her mind to it. We say this in the context of the recent jibes, which we consider sexist, about her looks and made by the “Private Eye” of Ian Hislop, the significantly challenged personality who has himself featured as a caricature in the Daily Mail’s political gossip column in the past few months. That Celia Walden is most probably better looking on any stage or platform than Ian Hislop in his BBC-paid-for attires cannot be held against her! ‘Shurely’ not, especially when it is recalled that Hislop’s professional ‘father’ Richard Ingrams, himself hero-worshipped the Telegraph’s Deeds and has promoted the Telegraph on every available excuse and opportunity for the best part of 50 years now. We have already shown our independent estimation of Celia Walden’s journalistic abilities by linking to one of her previous pieces [published shortly before the 01 May 2008 ‘elections’ re ‘mayor’ in the name of the people of London] in which she promoted Boris Johnson and his father Stanley Johnson. In fact the timing and the contents of that piece show that Celia Walden was orchestrated to do a promotion piece for Boris Johnson with his father Stanley being used as a reporting prop.

So the ‘mystery’ why she has not written, or rather not been allowed to write a serious piece about the possible existence, the likely size and the probable composition of Boris Johnson’s brain is to be found in what the proprietors of the organ want.

After all, Boris Johnson himself is still an overly generously paid “employee” of the same title. And measured by his ‘explanation about’ the ‘chicken feed’ sum [of more than £200,000.00] that he is paid for lending his name to 50 odd pieces a year, it is quite possible that no one, Celia Walden included, is going to be allowed to really write an objective piece about Boris Johnson and see it published freely by the Daily Telegraph group. Not for at least another 3 years…

Which shows that contrary to the impression created by the Daily Telegraph’s covering of the series of MPs expenses and Peers’ fiddles earlier this year [and still continuing to a lesser extent], the title is as shy about holding to account all holders of political office as any of its rival titles linked with their own pet politicos is… No ‘danger’ of the truth really coming out through the Daily Telegraph group then! It follows therefore that the London Daily Telegraph is not about to REVEAL something no other ‘mainstream’ commercial print title in the UK has done, yet and say that CROSSRAIL is going to be scrapped because all the fiddlers touts ands stooges of the Big Business Bechtel-linked string pullers from behind the scenes have found out how crass the whole thing is…And 'guess' what! It all came out because of the extraordinary brain powers possessed by Boris Johnson, as boasted of by his father Stanley Johnson, in amongst other places, that interview with Celia Walden published just before the 01 May 2008 elections...!!!! KHOODEELAAR! Action replay: Muhammad Haque told HARROW Times on 25 October 2007

By © Muhammad Haque
2150 Hrs GMT
Thursday 25 October 2007

Khoodeelaar! The East End of London campaign against the CrossRail hole Bill notes the unconstitutional attitude as expressed by the transport minister Tom Harris in your report.

Mr Harris is showing undemocratic contempt for the principles and the practice of the sovereignty of parliament by expressing the presumption that he does nit believe _that anyone wants the bill to be infinitely delayed or, worse still, cancelled_

Where, in any of the recorded contributions from any MP was there any suggestion of infinite delay?

Mr Harris is using stock phrases so typical of machine placemen in regimes that abhor democratic scrutiny of executive plots.

The particular Crossrail hole plot is linked with Big Business lobby of regional and UK central executive careerists and time-servers typified by the likes of the _Undone mayor_ Ken Livingstone.

Livingstone has hogged most of the limelight around Gordon Brown’s recent and unconvincing subscription to the mysterious merits of this scheme as the answer to the pressing transport needs of the people of London.

The various promotional utterances by the Gordon Brown entourage during the first week of October 2007 around the CrossRail hole plot were all staged as part of the now-thwarted snap election that Brown was almost ready to call.

That snap poll alone was Brown’s reason for staging the stunt about _CrossRail_. Fur the best part of the previous decade, as the UK Finance Minister, Gordon Brown and Ken Livingstone had not agreed on any of the substantive issues especially about matters to d with the public finance of private infrastructure projects.

How significant therefore that these very two adversaries suddenly found themselves behaving - for rather pretending en stages that had been specially set up in and metaphorically] around Bournemouth in September 2007- as if they had been inseparable twins for as long as memory served!

And just days before Brown was poised to call a snap election!

It is already emerging that Livingstone was 'perhaps' a tad too hasty to celebrate the _deal_ by claiming that he had _delivered_ CrossRail, thus showing up any tangible opponent to his ambition to remain the occupant of the ego-boosting office of _Undone mayor_ forever!

A democratic debate and scrutiny in any legitimate forum, far from being a tendency towards delaying an appropriate and sound plan, can ensure that any serious drawbacks that are found in or that remain in any plan that is supposed to be backed by several £Billions of public cash are dealt with thus sparing the public and the public purse avoidable wastes and losses in the future.

However, even if there were evidence to support the demand for a thorough review and examination of the transport needs in London in the context of the Uk economy including the central factor of the choice of the optimum mode of transport to meet the present and the mid term needs, such as Khoodeelaar! has been making for nearly 4 years of opposition to the current CrossRail hole plot, the likes of Tom Harris do not seem disposed to tolerate the emergence of such a rational answer to the transport problems.

Instead, they have gone for the fanatical short cut: they utter the mantra of Crossrail rather than talk about addressing the huge transport needs that the UK economy must see met and the capacity of the economy.

They have been behaving like a cult that has been recruited to the secret Crossrail plan which they insist must be supported by £Billions of public money but without parliamentary or democratic scrutiny!

Those who have been placed as the current UK Govt front men and women to tout for the CrossRail plot _ as distinctly different from arguing for the democratically arrived at solution/s to the transport needs such as a mode that best suits the given regional and strategic needs, the demands and the sustainable capacity of the UK public purse have been discrediting their own claims to be respecters of the democratic process of decision-making by undermining even the most tokenistic of debates, the most pliant of scrutinies by exaggerating the adverse effects of upholding democracy!

During the Second Reading held in the House of Commons in July 2005, the then CrossRail hole plot Bill minister Alistair Darling led the insertion into the terms of reference for the _CrossRail Bill select committee of MPs_ of a BARRIER, a ban
Thus preventing that select committee from scrutiny the _Crossrail Bill_!

So the utterances by Tom Harris must be to do with the fact that even he knows that when the same Bill goes to the currently constituted Upper Chamber and is subjected to the corresponding select committee procedures, it may actually be scrutinized in an unpredictable way, so unpredictably that the truth about the fundamentally flawed nature of the plot may come out!

Is that what Tom Harris is aware of and is _career wise_ _worried_ about?

If it is, he is right to be worried!

Because no honest, informed and responsible scrutiny of the _Crossrail Bill_ as it is, can support it in the context of the economy, the society, the environment and the finance.

KHOODEELAAR! Linking this [CLICK on the image in the panel on left of this page] to a [hopefully still active] Daily Telegraph web site piece by-lined to Celia Walden doing a plug for Stanley Johnson, father of Boris, before the 1 May 2008 elections in London. We are linking the piece because of one particular part in which it says that Boris [Oops! “Johnson’] Snr was claiming that Boris Johnson KNEW what he was doing and saying. We are doing this today, Friday 20 November 2009 when the Guardian, another crass role-playing peddler of the Crossrail scam, has in effect confessed to the crassness of the CrossRail scam. The Guardian is carrying a plug piece to the CBI’s self-seeking ‘director general’ Richard Lambert. In that plug, there is a supposed irony in a reference to the huge hole being created by CROSSRAIL in central London, not far at all from, Lambert’s CBI HQ…. We have over the years, exposed the bankruptcy of Lambert and showed what an emptiness he is when it comes to fully understanding the components of the economy. We wonder therefore if Johnson Snr’s claim can stand the test raised by his earlier claim. as ‘told’ to Celia Walden in 2008! How long will the Daily Telegraph’s controllers wait before they let Celia Walden find out what Boris Jnr has been really up to and whether his father’s boastful promotion of his intellect – and Celia’s own part in promoting its existence – has stood the test of reality post 1 May 2008

KHOODEELAAR! Told you so! That the London Crossrail was a Big Business scam, that it was part of the agenda that Big Business devised in order to rob UK public of money that the kitty simply did not have.

Not genuine money. And as the realities of the imprudence of peddling Crossrail by a diverted, derailed Gordon Brown in October 2007 begin to dawn two years later albeit under ‘electoral pressures’ [and we are NOT impressed by ‘electoral pressures’ really], we can only note at the unending brazenness of the couriers of Big Business lies.

This morning we have been commenting on and rebutting the latest peddling done under a reversed OTT choice of words by them…. We say to them even at this stage: SCRAP Crossrail and get back to reality. Address the upgrade, repair m, maintenance and standards needs on the existing transport networks…

East of England's railway stations sidelined by 'big ticket' projects: RCE
Christian Duffin, Regen.net, 18 November 2009
Railway stations, trains and tracks in the East of England are falling into disrepair because the government is focussing resources on "big ticket" rail projects elsewhere, a campaign group has said.
Regional Cities East (RCE) is warning that economic recovery will be hampered if the government only provides funding for major projects such as Crossrail, which will link London and the South-East, and high-speed rail.

The campaigners - representing Peterborough, Luton, Ipswich, Norwich, Colchester and Southend – are calling for funding for more carriage capacity, new trains and tracks, and better stations in their region.

They will publish a report highlighting the economic value of smaller cities and will lobby ministers at Parliament events.

RCE chair Steve Morphew, also leader of Norwich City Council, said: "High profile national projects are important but they can’t come at the cost of nuts and bolts improvements across the rail network. Our links with the capital need to be robust if we are to maximise our potential to deliver prosperity."

The RCE’s comments come a day after transport secretary Lord Adonis announced a £50 million fund to pay for improvements to ten major train stations in England, including Luton.

KHOODEELAAR! Updating the evidential diagnostics on the CRASSrole played by CRASSrail-scam-peddling London EVENING nostandards STANDARD....

0958 [0940] [0710] GMT London Wednesday 18 November 2009:

Editor © Muhammad Haque.

KHOODEELAAR! Told you so! That the London EVENING nostandards STANDARD was crass. We said this in February 2004 when we first put a letter of evidential rebuttal against the peddling for CRASSrail by Ken Livingstone who was then the peddler-in-chief for City of London CRASSrail scam.

The EVENING STANDARD was in the grip of a lying agenda in February 2004.

The London EVENING nostandards STANDARD was undergoing a period of massive suppression of the truth and it was ferociously racistly mis-edited by Veronica Wadley over the years that witnessed the formal passage of the Big Business CRASSrail package as the ‘Crossrail Bill’ into the “Crossrail Act”. During most of that period, February 2004 to July 2008 [the latter time point when the CRASS Crossrail Bill was given the robber-stamp under the expressly crass aegis of Harriet Harman going OTT in her own stooged role for Big Business wearing her licence as the officially designated ‘leader’ of the House of Commons in the Palace of Ghostsminster] the standardless London EVENING STANDARD carried lies after fabricated lies for the City of London CRASSrole playing Crossrail scam agenda…And it was ceaselessly publishing the fraudulent endorsement of the scam by the ‘local London’ fraudulence-personification Tony Travers. Travers was presenting the usual travesty of the truth as he was justifying his expertise fees. As this was going on, Veronica Wadley was posing as an objective editor as she also engaged in a two-fronted ‘mini-war’ on Ken Livingstone. One front was most unpredictably opened by Ken Livingstone’s stupid assault on the rights and the humanity of a then still unknown reporter called Oliver Finegold [in whose defence we have published over 30 separate items in the past years] and the other was her deeply corrupt promotion of CRASSrail, the City of London and every single piece of sleaze ball dirt-carrier self-server that was adept at jumping onboard the Crossrail scam wagon. In effect it was not a ‘war’ of any sort at all. It was a ploy to make the EVENING STANDARD look neutral when in fact she [then Editor Veronica Wadley] has been professionally and evidentially incapable of being neutral in the International objective sense of the term. She managed to publish lies for Crossrail and in doing so created the untruthful cut-and-paste-proof that ‘the London local newspaper backed the scam’. Suddenly, the Wadley reign was at an end at the lying title. And so we began to see the appearance of a concession to the truth. Very tokenistic, very untruthful in itself. No more than a concession. Which is an outrage and a disgrace. So the so-called new regime – making losses already and this despite the dropping of a cover price for the sinking title- is still labouring under the legacies of lies left behind by Wadley in her wake. It is for this reason that the CURRENT Crossrail agenda assault [as at 18 November 2009] on the ordinary, mostly small businesses in SOHO in central London has been given the pathetic, half-hearted space and prominence in the London EVENING nostandards STANDARD. We here reproduce the latest piece on SOHO as carried by the London EVENING STANDARD website:

Firms being forced out to make way for Crossrail denounced the compensation process as “appalling” today.
Companies in Dean Street, Soho, accused transport bosses of throwing them out without giving them sufficient cash to pay for the move.
More than 80 got only three months' notice to vacate premises by tomorrow so a ticket hall for the £16 billion project can be built for Tottenham Court Road. Demolition is due to start in the new year. Most of the shops, pubs, restaurants and law, media and PR firms have already left, with retailers holding discount sales. Many have leases rather than own the freehold of buildings, and want their relocation costs reimbursed.
Today campaigners claimed Crossrail was “playing hardball”, offering a “fraction” of moving costs. Some firms are shutting permanently. Laura Carr, 27, manager of the Couch Bar, said: “It's the end. I've been selling off furniture.”
Holly Hartley, 45, a co-owner of Short Films, said the estimated cost of moving was £32,000, adding: “Crossrail has offered us £1,000 but I'm not going to accept it.” A Crossrail spokesman said: “All claims are dealt with under the terms of the National Compensation Code and many are ongoing.” Landlords were offered 90 per cent of “assessed property value” and there is a helpline.

The employees are not going to find jobs now. I spent 17 years of my life working to build this place up and now I have nothing. I just have to worry about if and when I get any kind of compensation. It is devastating, but more for my staff.”

He said: “It is not easy to find suitable replacement premises. In the meantime we have to close and I am preparing to lose out [in takings while the shoe shop is closed]. It's like the reverse of winning the lottery.”

In some ways I understand why the development is happening, but I employed 10 staff. The last place I worked at was shut down too.”

In reply to Jonb, I have supported Boris in promoting Crossrail because whatever decisions Boris takes on supporting or denouncing projects proposed by our previous mayor is the correct one. Ken supporting Crossrail was a mistake, because he was Ken, and Ken was a complete disaster. It's a simple concept that I presume you are unable to grasp because you are not a fan of Boris.__- Sarah, London
Luke is very much alone in supporting Crossrail with the City. The rest of London does not want to bankroll the City banking failures unlike Boris and Ken and their parties. On top of this, the public are having to pay out most of the £16bn+ for a railway line that replicates the central line and destroys important residential areas and now small business areas of London unless that is you do not care for the social fabric of London. Crossrail is a financial, economic and environmental millstone for Londoners. It is odd that the City do not like paying for anything and yet they claim to be successful. Shambolic__- Val Keller, London UK
Sarah, I am surprised you are blaming Ken - for all the comments on Crossrail you have left up to now, the credit for Crossrail is all with Boris!!__- Jonb, London
And so thanks to Ken Livingstone's support for this monstrous railway ploughing its way through central London which caught the imagination of the government, we now have a situation where the historical fabric of this city is being ripped apart all in the name of helping a few bankrupt City workers get to their surburbia a little bit quicker. The legacy of Crossrail and Livingstone continues to ruin lives long after he has gone.__- Sarah, London
If my memory serves me well Crossrail has ear marked a station ticket hall at Dean Street since the scheme began in the early 1990s. How anyone can say this is suprise is beyond me.__There is no "good time" for a CPO and I really feel sorry for owners who have to move out - (especially Spaccanapoli - I'll miss your brilliant pizzas!) but businesses really should have started making plans when the scheme got its green light for parliament in July last year.__Crossrail is coming and about time too!__- Luke, London

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD THE BBC So! And now [Tuesday 17 Nov 2009] the BBC London News admits it to be so! In EFFECT. On the facts!

KHOODEELAAR! Told you so! Crossrail was CRASS. First proof it was crass was always to be found in the DENIAL of its peddlers of the EXISTING London transport network sinking into ever deeper holes of disrepair, neglect and poor standard. That has again been admitted now by the err..

Persistent peddler of Crossrail on the Ken Livingstone side of the non-divide at the Ghastly ‘London Assembly’, Val Shawcross.

Shawcross is an adept faker on the Ken Livingstone fan club. She was, however, forced by events to go on the record during Tuesday and confess that Boris Johnson was phasing out bus services in London! The ‘cause’? Shortage of cash! Oooops!!!! Told you so!

That every single peddler of the wasteful, poverty-creating Crossrail scam was faking. We also have pointed out the lying by Crossrail peddlers over the years.. Even the search engine Google is apparently confused. That is a function of the speed with which the peddlers of CRASSrail are having to switch from one fakery to the unprecedented illogical next.. No algorithmic programming or input can deal with that speed of CRASS lying…

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD THE BBC So! and now the Radio 4 'Today' is almost admitting the truth

1328 GMT

Editor © Muhammad Haque

Khoodeelaar! No to “Crossrail hole scam Big Business agenda…” Campaign has argued for 5 years and 10 months now [January 2004 – November 2009] that UK Gordon Brown HAD to show that he was competent in allocating huge sums of public money to projects that were not demonstrably viable sustainable productive or justified. We have been chronicling the various serious errors in G Brown’s 'policies'.

Now, the BBC published a confessional of its own and said that financial regulation in the UK was not working [Radio 4, Today programme, Monday 16 November 2009].

What the BBC should have actually said on the Today propgramme was that the Corporation had been allowing the alleged financial regulators to get way with colluding with the wrongdoers. And that the ‘real’ forum for regulation, the ‘elected’ ‘House of Commons’ was a stooged place bereft of both knowledge and courage to hold the looter bankers and their colluding outfits to democratic audit and account.

That the lies being printed by agencies of Big Business looters in support of their false claim [as typified the following item we reproduce here from the constriction trade website concerned [http://www.building.co.uk/story.asp?sectioncode=284&storycode=3151865&c=0] would not be allowed to go unexposed and uncondemned had there been a real regulation of the media in England.

That the London CrossRail scam was a viable economic one would not be allowed to appear had there been even minimal standards in the culture of ‘regulation’ of the media.

That the BBC itself should have been ashamed of the lies that it carries daily on befall of Big Businesses and assortments of other wrongdoers looting the economy and robbing the public in the UK

CROSSRAIL AND TUBE REVAMP WOULD BOOST ECONOMY BY £24BN
27 October, 2009
By Sophie Griffiths
Crossrail and overhaul of London's tube would benefit the wider UK economy, says research
Building Crossrail and completing the modernisation of the tube will generate wider economic benefits for Britain in the order of £24bn additional GDP, new research has revealed.
The report by business organisation London First showed that without continued investment, Londoners would face increasingly impoverished travelling conditions on a daily basis.
This would include unreliability, slower journeys and much more overcrowding.

Some passengers will be put off using the tube altogether and will add to congestion on the roads or simply not travel at all, reducing London employers’ ability to recruit and costing London and the UK the opportunity of further economic growth, the report said.
Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, who joined London First at the launch of their report said: "My commitment to the tube upgrades and Crossrail is fundamental and unwavering. The benefits of Crossrail will only be realised if continued investment is also provided for the rebuilding of the tube.
Without modernisation of the tube, the report said half a million passengers, twice as many as now, would be forced to commute in conditions defined as “very crowded” - the equivalent of four or more people in a telephone box.
Meanwhile, the ticket barrier and entrance at Victoria station would be shut every six minutes, for two minutes each time, to maintain safety in the face of severe crowding.

KHOODEELAAR! Contextually reiterating WE TOLD YOU SO! Now that SOHO, central London is witnessing CRASSrail devastating small and vital businesses...

Khoodeelaar! Told you so! For years we have been arguing against the Big Business Crossrail scam agenda. We have been saying that the scam in designed to disrupt, dislocate and destroy communities, small business and families…We are here reiterating the diagnostic call on the 'spenders' of public money in the name of the economy and in this context in the name of inner city deprived boroughs [see last Friday’s spiels by John Denham. more on that later] to behave responsibly. To behave responsibly and accountably. And to desist from abusing their positions. We here again draw attention to the small businesses in the Soho area in central London where the CRASSrail attacks are getting even more unbearable than the BBC report has shown so far…[To be continued]

KHOODEELAAR! to ‘Bethnal Green South’ & Stepney wards IN PARTICULAR to come out and say No to Crossrail holes

1255 GMT London Sunday 15 November 2009:

Khoodeelaar! No to “Crossrail hole scam Big Business agenda…” campaign is this week reiterating the call to all ‘elected councillors on Tower Hamlets Council’ representing’ the ‘Bethnal Green South’ and the Stepney wards IN PARTICULAR to come out and put their position on the table. No, let them put their position to the local community. Do the ‘councillors’ support the Crossrail holes in their wards? If so, let them say why. If they don’t support those Crossrail holes then let them say so too. Let them do it openly. Clearly and very simply.

KHOODEELAAR! Contextual update [2] on 'proceedings in Parliament' about Crossrail as linked to Vince Cable's co-league Norman Baker..[2]

Editor © Muhammad Haque

Khoodeelaar! Told you so! There is cross talk about Crossrail across the cross-bent House of Commons featuring in the plastic replay of the acts rehearsed and staged on so many previous occasions at the behest of the real pullers of the strings. Now even Norman Baker, whose questions [‘written answer’ dated 15 October 2009] we reported yesterday, is 'thinking the unthinkable’ [!!!!]. The scenario of a CANCELLED Crossrail… And in effect reviving what Vince Cable had said in September...that Crossrail was NOT a priority for the UK Lib Dems if they were sited anywhere near the configuration of 'power' in a post election regime in Britain. The ‘spin’ put behind the Norman Baker floatation of ‘fears’ about the COST OF CANCELLING Crossrail is typical of the ‘New Civil Engineer’ and assorted other construction trade organs. They have now reached the point of admitting that Crossrail is a wasteful diversion in the economy but they can’t get the message. They are still in denial, as Norman Baker seems to have become. For Norman Baker, the experience must be quite something. Given that he has set himself up as a sort of inquisitive MP keen to hold the executive to [at least] some account, Norman Baker’s peddling role for the CRASSrail agenda pushers does not fit his recent profile… That the CRASSrail peddlers have managed to get Norman Baker to spiel on their behalf shows just how influential the forces are in the UK House of Stooges…[To be continued]

KHOODEELAAR! Contextual update on 'proceedings in Parliament' about Crossrail on day when Vince Cable was caught unplugged, exposed as Mr Bean!

0855 GMT
London
Wednesday
11 November 2009

KHOODEELAAR! Contextual update on 'proceedings in Parliament' about Crossrail on the same day when Vince Cable was shown up – a few miles to the east from the Palace of Ghostsminster- as a Mr Bean on the subject during his ‘celebrity’ appearance on a Lib Dems party-organised ‘public meeting’ held in Bethnal Green, at the Oxford House in Derbyshire Street London E2.

The IRONIC thing is that the 'written question’ in the House of Commons about Crossrail scam funding was put to the Crossrail agenda-carrying stooges in the UK 'Govt' [DAFT ‘Department for Transport’ = DfT] by Norman Baker, a 'co-league' of Vince Cable’s on the ‘Parliamentary’ Lib Dems Party ‘front bench’.

The written question was answered in predictably glib and unforthcoming style by the stooged bureaucrats. Apart from the glibness, the ‘written answer’ also lacked substance. It failed to answer the main queries in Norman Baker’s question.

However, in the texts as published by Hansard, there is a most telling admission that the CRASSrail scam-peddling elements were not willing to come clean about who was really doing what with how much money.

They hid behind the alleged commercial factor/s.

Which is to say that commercial interests of elements supersede the assumed constitutional sovereignty of the UK Parliament.

Which is why we have been calling the scam CRASS!

Crassly conceived.

Crassly passaged.

Crassly peddled.

From the UK Parliament website, Hansard, report of proceedings in the UK House of Commons dated 15 October 2009

http://services.parliament.uk/hansard/Commons/ByDate/20091015/writtenanswers/part010.html

Transport
Crossrail Line: Finance
Norman Baker: To ask the Minister of State, Department for Transport how much has been (a) spent on and (b) committed to the Crossrail project by (i) the Government and (ii) the private sector; and what estimate he has made of the proportion of the final cost of the project each such figure represents. [293275]
999
Mr. Khan: Crossrail Ltd. (CRL) is delivering Crossrail on behalf of both Project Sponsors (the Department for Transport and Transport for London) and has spent £401 million in relation to the construction of Crossrail (excluding recoverable VAT on land and property purchases) since the granting of Royal Assent on 22 July 2008. In line with undertakings given to the House, expenditure from this date is reported annually, and I refer the hon. Member to the first of these statements, made to the House on 16 July 2009, Official Report, columns 80-81WS.
The profile of direct expenditure by private sector partners is a commercial matter for those partners.
The Crossrail funding package, announced by the Prime Minister in October 2007, is designed to strike a fair balance in securing financial contributions from all those who will benefit from the scheme—Government, businesses and passengers.
Central Government, through the Department for Transport, have committed £5.1 billion of direct funding to Crossrail, which amounts to approximately one third of the funding package, in line with the estimated costs of construction of £15.9 billion.
Private sector commitments to Crossrail include a number of commercial agreements with private sector companies to provide contributions to Crossrail, given the benefits which will flow to businesses as a result of the scheme.
These include agreements with Canary Wharf Group, City of London, Berkeley Homes Group and BAA, as well as wider contributions being made through Business Rate Supplements, the planned Community Infrastructure Levy and Section 106 developer contributions. Such commitments constitute approximately one third of the Crossrail funding package.

KHOODEELAAR! No to "Crossrail holes Big Business scam agenda." is supporting the community in the Bethnal Green South and Stepney parts of the area where the Crossrail holes activities are being concentrated.

In the days, weeks, months to come, we shall be publishing the updated reports here and on all our Internet sites, blogs the reasons why we have been saying for FIVE YEARS and TEN months now [since January 2004] No to Crossrail holes in the East End of London.

We have been saying this with the most extensive research back up on the subject of the Crassrail scam that the agenda behind Crossrail is a sham one. That is not a genuine one about transport. That the fact that the CURRENT touting role-player for Big Business in the name of ‘London’ has been forced to alter the phrase of his utterances shows that we have been vindicated again.

We here refer to the fact that only in the past weeks has Boris Johnson been referring to ‘London underground’ and or ‘London tube’ and or ‘London transport’’ before saying anything about Crossrail.

This is because of years of evidence that we have published showing that CROSSRAIL was crass because it was being peddled LITERALLY at the expense of existing transport infrastructure in London.

We are going to continue to show with updated evidence that the Crossrail holes scam agenda is not intended to 'benefit' the ordinary people and the community in the East End of London.

That the Crossrail holes scam agenda is to benefit Big Business and their touts at the expense of the ordinary people and the community in the East end of London.

KHOODEELAAR! CONTEXTUAL commentary on the failures of MOST elected postholders, and noting the campaigning role of one ex-Councillor, Louise Alexander

0720 Hrs GMT
London Sunday
08 November 2009
[latest edition of this file]:
Editor © Muhammad Haque.

Tower Hamlets Councillor [until recently] Louise Alexander was one of those who listened to Vince Cable at his ‘celebrity’ appearance at a ‘local’ Lib Dems ‘do’ held at the Oxford House in Bethnal Green on 15 October 2009.

Ms Alexander was one of over 15 people who put in written questions for Vince Cable to answer. Our researches show that her question was not really answered by Vince Cable at the event. It was probably ‘rejected’ by the ‘chair’ of the do, Malcolm Star*******, the current occupant in the shrinking chair still called “Editor” at the ‘East London Idiotiser’, who was hauled in to ‘boost’ the propaganda efforts on behalf of the ‘Lib Dems’. That was an abysmal failure. As we have been chronicling. Malcom Star******** rejected most questions. One he could not foresee the fallout from was the one that did contain a reference to Crossrail.

It was that one that led to our witnessing Vince Cable coming unplugged with his own and astoundingly ignorant question: ‘Does Crossrail Come through here?’ Ms Alexander had been the only member of the then [Lib Dems] [official] Opposition on Tower Hamlets Council on Wednesday 1 March 2006 to attempt to have the ‘full Council’ back her motion that evening to support the Khoodeelaar! Campaign for the Council to say No to the Crossrail hole. It is a FACT that despite our daily reporting both before and since that date [1 March 2006] of the facts of what the Crossrail hole scam Big Business AGENDA means in terms of adding to poverty and inequality, discrimination, underachievement in the East End of London,

NO COUNCILLOR [including those who managed to ‘become councillors’ for the first time by basking on the ‘glory’ of their then falsely-claimed support for the KHOODEELAAR! campaign and their being thus featured in the particular UK and international media coverage which we created during January 2006 and April 2006] in defence of the community against the Crossrail hole scam-inviting role of the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Crossrail hole-inviter Council on 4 May 2006 has matched the constitutional part that Louise Alexander did play on that date and in support of the KHOODEELAAR! Campaign against the Council role in bringing in the CRASSrail scam agenda of digging holes in the East End of London and devastating the community….

And we have given Ms Alexander full credit that she has deserved for that stand she took inside the Council chamber on Wednesday 1 March 2006. If a councillor or any other bona fide holder of an elected position does a service to the [or any identifiable and significant] cause that is led by and raised by a campaign then that moment must be acknowledged. As we have been doing on appropriate relevant occasions by citing and updating the citation about Louise Alexander, who used to represent the Weavers ward in Tower Hamlets. .

As well as our pointing out the contrasting failures of other councillors on the same Tower Hamlets Council concerned.

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD UK CON Party Leader D Cameron to quit faking it. He is showing a weakness for fakery that will prove electorally fatal.

Editor © Muhammad Haque

This morning’s peddling for CRASSrail is being done by a newly confused London EVENING STANDARD.

Having forced to scrap charging a cover price, they are now looking for any new excuse to justify their now unauditable circulation.

So they are reverting to being a touting outfit again for the City of London vested interests. Only after a few months!

So we return to the evidential practice and refer to them as the EVENING nostandards STANDARD!

In their promotion of CRASSRail via the uttered words performed by Ca-Moron, the UK Con party leader has again confirmed that he is not upto scratch.

As was exposed on BBC Question Time last night by Ca-Moron’s dubious mouthpiece Herbert, the UK CON Party is in deep confusion about its fakery on Europe.

Just as Dave Ca-Morn has done on CRASSrail peddling. One moment he says Crossrail is vital and the next minute he puts conditions on it.

He is faking.

But he lacks the courage to say it.

He should say that Crossrail is crass and it has got to be scrapped.

Cameron is being manipulated into playing second fiddle to Big Business and their CURRENT tout in place.

Very CRASS.

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD THE FT SO for years. Now, belatedly and hanging by the coat-tails of the opportunistic ‘National Audit office’ they sort of sing the song…But the FT still cannot tell the truth…That CROSSRAIL is crass, that the schools in London are a scandal,. that the vested interests that control the actual [mostly dubious and dishonestly designed] productivity [Oops. Skills shortage to hit public projects

By Nicholas Timmins, Public Policy Editor

FINANCIAL TIMES

London

Published: November 6 2009 02:00 | Last updated: November 6 2009 02:00 Public projects worth £200bn – including the Olympic Games, Crossrail, defence infrastructure and ID cards – are at risk because the government lacks the commercial skills to deliver them, the public spending watchdog warned yesterday. The National Audit Office said there was “an even greater risk” to many other complex government projects where the shortage of skills among the people working on them had not even been systematically assessed. Each of the 43 schemes on the Treasury’s “major projects list” had a civil servant who was its senior responsible owner. But 44 per cent of those civil servants lacked any substantial commercial experience, the NAO said. The biggest skills gaps were in contract management, commissioning and managing advisers, risk identification and management – and plain old business acumen. While the government had tried to plug the gaps using temporary staff, consultants and specialist advisers, that was costly and could lead to a loss of knowledge when temporary staff moved on. The government has been attempting to boost its commercial skills since 1997, after repeated reports drew attention to the shortfall . While all big departments now had a commercial director, however, the 13 that provided information showed that more than a third of their spend was on temporary staff. The government was not even making the best use of the skills it had got, the NAO said. Departments lacked information on the expertise that was available and there was no formal mechanism for allocating expertise across government departments. The civil service culture of moving staff frequently within departments often meant that projects and individuals lost vital commercial experience. One important initiative has been to set up the Office of Government Commerce a decade ago to provide skills and guidance on best practice. But 14 of the 16 departmental commercial directors believed it had done little to address the skill gaps within their own departments, and the NAO judged that the OGC was having “limited impact”. That raised questions on how far its £1.5m-a-year budget was delivering value for money, the report added. Amyas Morse, head of the NAO, said “a great deal of money” rested on whether the government had the skills needed for complex projects at a time when it was ever more reliant on the private sector to deliver public services. Its recommendations incl-ude paying more for the right skills, in spite of public spending constraints; improving the use of skilled individuals across government; and getting the OGC to understand why departments are reluctant to take part in its initiatives. The NAO said the recent review of departments’ procurement cap abilities had been useful but the OGC lacked a performance management system to measure the success of its individual initiatives. KHOODEELAAR! Telling the Wharf, on the Isle of Dogs [Oops, a name-error there!] to publish our comments with evidential Questions.

http://www.wharf.co.uk/2009/11/improve-transport-or-london-ec.html#more

"Your headline is absolutely accurate. And appropriate. In fact the evidence shows that transport, not OTT-hyped ploys for devious interests intent on abusing public resources, is what deserves high and intelligent attention of decision-makers. As UK finance Minister, Gordon Brown had asked an aviation industry man Rod Eddington to take a deep look at the railways. He concluded in effect by adding to the argument that transport was vital. Yet as Channel 4 News commented in October 2007, Gordon Brown ignored his advice and went ahead with the commitment to fund Crossrail to the tune of £Billions. Even the US business affairs journal Forbes reported earlier that Eddington had NOT endorsed Crossrail. So will Brown do the right thing even at this stage and scrap Crossrail? Will he admit that the existing London transport infrastructure needs serious attention? As Simon Jenkins pointed out in the EVENING STANDARD on 30 April 2009, will Boris do it? Will the ECONOMIST magazine’s extensive report along the same line find acceptance at the UK Treasury? Will they listen to long time promoter of Ken Livingstone's Crossrail slogan, the London School of Economist ‘expert’ Tony Travers [who has now changed his tune and is more in line with what the many independent sources cited above are saying] and prioritise the London Underground?"

KHOOODEELAAR! Told 'MP' Stephen POUND SO! [4]

KHOODEELAAR! TOLD the utterer of gross CRASS Crossrail scam-peddling ‘Business’ lie ‘the’ ‘MP’ S POUND so.

Now another ‘Business’ ‘leader’ IN EFFECT echoes what we said. Evidence mounts that Mr Pound spieled stupid! Again! [4]

For those who are new here, the ‘MP” Stephen Pound is a regular fixture on ‘London news and media circuits’.

He pops up at the slightest of excuse.

And it seems that he is busier with appearing and uttering on assortment of ‘the meeza’ platforms and slots than he is with anything really relevant to the lives and the thoughts of his alleged constituents.

He is so frequently on show that it seems that he probably has a sleeping bag with the tag ‘MP’ as a ‘licence’ for him to sleep on location and on studio floors.

On the occasion that Tony McNulty made his highly condemned fake apology in the UK House of Commons recently, the TV cameras filming the moment could not get rid of the peering face of…. Yes. No. Not the face of Tony McNulty the non-apologising-apologising MP for a Harrow constituency… it was the unmistakable face of Stephen Pound ‘MP’….

On the [imagined, stretched, semi-logical, sub-mathematical, diametrically] opposite side of Tony McNulty was, of course the half-visible face or facade of… yes, we got it, Jim F…Another ‘MP’!

Between the two of them, they can easily sink any case, discredit any cause no matter how otherwise acceptable!

So it was on the BBC Politics Show London segment on a Sunday.

Stephen Pound had not got it. Even though it had been days since he had sat there in the House of Commons near Tony McNulty, he had not understood the sheer, utter absurdity of his appearance.

The presenter of the particular edition of the Politics Show London segment asked S Pound about Tony McNulty and remarked that Pound had been seen sitting next to him.

Instead of making a decent statement about a probable coincidence of House of Commons sitting arrangement, Pound embarked on yet another defence of Tony McNulty….

Which shows that far from being there just by chance, Stephen Pound must have been there by design and contrivance.

Crossrail also came under consideration after rumours the Government was contemplating pulling the plug on the project. Richard Brown, chief executive of Eurostar, urged investment to continue.
He said: "We should be concerned about not so much the cancellation of Crossrail but the curtailment or the slowing up of it.
"It's actually a much bigger issue. The private sector is already finding it difficult to invest because of funding and profitabilty. The public sector is going to find it hard because of public expenditure cut backs.

Improving transport links to east London is essential to safeguard the economy of the region.
The topic was one of a number discussed at the Thames Gateway Forum at The Indigo2 yesterday, which drew together agencies and organisations involved in developing the region flanking the river east of Canary Wharf.
Among those taking part was Richard Gooding, chief executive of London City Airport, who had some trenchant views on transport links in the area, particularly the vexed issue of a new bridge.
He said: "Cross river connections are a major problem in east London. The Mayor has published his new draft transport strategy but he's not pushing enough on a river crossing.
"We still rely on the Woolwich Ferry and although the Mayor plans an upgrade of that we need something for the 22nd century, not just the 21st. A new river crossing would make the area work as an area."
Mr Gooding also poured cold water on Boris Johnson's proposals to develop a new airport in the Thames Estuary.
He said: "London needs a new airport like a hole in the head, but what it does need is adequate airport capacity. If we don't have sufficient capacity to serve the Thames Gateway then the whole of London's economy will fail.
"An easier solution is to build a new airport but we haven't done that very often in this country. The likelihood is to create a new airport from scratch, with all the infrastructure around it, will take 30 years at a cost of £40billion, but add in the infrastructure and it'll cost £100billion.
"That means it will take us 15 years to decide to do it, let alone actually do it. What we need in London is to plan for the interim, using airports like Luton, Stansted and London City to their maximum capacity."
But he ruled out having flights from City Airport on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
He said: "It's extremely unlikely we will change that unless there's a huge increase in business passengers wanting to fly on a Saturday afternoon, but we don't see any sign of that."
"The key issue is to make sure the Government doesn't cut back on essential infrastructure investment, whether it's in Crossrail, additional east London river crossings or local road networks.
"Public sector investment over the next five years is projected to decline very significantly as a percentage of GDP and that's a very bad thing. Investment must be sustained."
