This picture was taken on 6 June 2006 of the KHOODEELAAR! Demonstration against the Crossrail Hole SCAM outside the Palace of Westminster. One of the two 'Crossrail Bill Select Committees' of the UK Houses of Parliament was in plastic session at the time. The Khoodeelaar! Campaign designated the MPs and Peers who sat on the two separately contrived outfits as STOOGES. In fact on 17 January 2006, Khoodeelaar! took out a local demonstration in the Brick Lane Area to mark the first sitting on that date of the MPs CrossRail Bill Select Committee. As KHOODEELAAR! Diagnosed EVEN before the actual session, sittings and stooging roles performed by the stooged Select Committees, they did worse than anyone could imagine. Anyone aware of morality, ethics, accountability,. Constitutionality that is. The stooges, OOPS! MPs and PEE-rs on the 'Crossrail Bill Select Committees' in the UK "Houses of Parliament' [how august, formidable, ‘respectable’!!!!! that sounds!] rubber-stamped the CRASS package and they showed their contempt to the communities. The DROPPING of the Crossrail holes propgramme covering the central London area, was brought about by the campaign and DESPITE the stooged select committees. In other words, the experience to date of the Khoodeelaar! Campaign on the facts concerned has shown that MPs and PEERs are in business as petty careerists. There is no sustained, substantial evidence of their rigorous defence of democracy, accountability. No wonder that they mainly hit the headlines over their greed and over their caprice… Hardly the stuff of a democratic parliament… And it shows why communities can only defend ourselves by taking democratic defence actions ourselves…[To be continued]
