Muhammad Haque examined the 'Crossrail Bill' and found it crass in 2006: That finding remains valid 3 years on.. Scrap Crossrail!

The Khoodeelaar! Analysis and dissecting of the Crossrail Bill:
How that Bill needs to be scrapped and how it will cause more wastes and not solve the transport 'needs' of London

Part 4
Crass stupid Council lies for Crossrail hole plan
The crassness is in the contents of the Tower Hamlets Council’s ‘petition’. It ACCEPTS the Crossrail plan but is unable to say so because of the community opposition to the crass plans. So what does the Crossrail-hole-backing Council do? Create a device that has the appearance of being ‘concerned’ with some aspect of the Crossrail plan but in fact stay firmly committed to the Crossrail attack on the community. Here are some examples. At paragraph 22 of the so-called petition, Tower Hamlets Council says “Your Petitioners are concerned that there will be significant detrimental impacts on businesses within the Borough, many of which are operated by the black and minority ethnic community, as a result of the construction works. Accordingly, your Petitioners seek assurances from the Promoter that an action plan for mitigation against any impacts is produced and that suitable measures will be put in place. Your Petitioners would also request the right to raise any related matters pursuant to the Human Rights Act 1998 ("HRA") - and particularly in relation to Articles 6, 8 and 14 of the European Convention on Human Rights ("ECHR") - at the same time.”[Quoted from the Tower Hamlets Council’s petition] “_What can this be? On the one hand the ‘petitioner Council’ is saying that they know there will be detrimental impacts on businesses and many of those are operated by – what a wonderful world of immorality and of obscenity do we get into here within the stinkingly racist framework recreated by the racist fabricator who confected that paragraph and oversaw that stupid petition, ‘black and minority ethnic community. Has anyone in the world ever come across any entity called ‘black and minority ethnic community? What can the Council be referring to? They don’t know the people that might, just might, be in the affected area. Not only is that racist ignorance itself a violation of the human rights of the people in the area but the later ‘mitigation’ ‘sought by the 'petitioning’ corrupt Council is not much help either. It says, “that an action plan for mitigation against any impacts is reduced..”. Where does that leave the area? It leaves the area right within the CrossRail plan! The petition therefore is exposed as a lie. It is Not against the Crossrail plan but a stupid supplication at the expense of the community -whose image has been dehumanised in the language of the racist petitioner council. The disfigured community is being shown once again as being incapable of rejecting the corrupt plan and vicariously dependent on the twisted advocacy skills of a bunch of liars installed in the Tower Hamlets council in the misrepresented name of the people who are the targets of the crass Crossrail hole attack plan._[To be continued]_This written and filed at 1105 Hrs GMT London Saturday 3 June 2006]

Part 3
One of the first things that springs to mind when looking at the contents of the actual CrossRail Bill – and contemplating the massive volumes of lies that are contained in the ‘supporting documents’ and in the many paid advertisements carried in the ethnicity-linked ‘publications’ and in the ‘local press’# based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets – is that its is a crass Bill.
Nowhere is this so than in its promoting as ‘cleverly’ attempted by the corrupt clique on Tower Hamlets Council-'based' pro-Crossrail-hole-attack touts who confected the confected of the ‘petition’ in the name of the corporate entity of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council>There is no rationality in their conceptions.
There is no human recognition of what the East End of London is

Previous parts of this examination:
Crossrail Bill and the Tower Hamlets Council’s formally presented petition about it
Examined and analysed by Muhammad Haque
Here is a very textually representative part from the formally submitted petition by the London borough of Tower Hamlets Council for the stated consideration of the UK House of Commons Select Committee on CrossRail which is due to look at the Council’s submission starting on Tuesday 6 June 2006:-

There will also be further, significant development and regenerating in the Borough, such as the Bishopsgate Goods Yard and the Aldgate Development Scheme and other major regeneration now that London's bid to host the 2012 Olympics has been successful. _There will also be the consolidation of the ODPM's vision for growth in the Lower Lea Valley. It is therefore crucially important that proper consideration is given to the cumulative impacts that these and other projects will have on the surrounding areas and that appropriate measures are put in place to mitigate any such effects.

This is taken from one of a total of FIVE references to ‘regeneration’ as contained in the formal petition submitted to the UK House of Commons CrossRail Bill Select committee by the or in the name of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council.
The language, the concepts used are so significant that we shall spend some space and time in going into the depth of this package of lies for CrossRail.
Why is it a package of lies?
Because it is.
In all the publicity ‘news conferences’ that the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council staged [in the weeks after the 22 January 2006 Khoodeelaar demand – to which we shall return later] to get across the 'promise' or ‘the achievement’ [or the carrot] that their ‘petition’ [the document that THIS REVIEW is now examining] had ‘protected’’ or 'helped’ and even ‘campaigned’ for the community and had done so AGAINST the Crossrail hole attack! The one word that they used and the one concept they overloaded every single one of their liaisons with the so-called ethnicity-linked ‘journalists’ with was the word and the concept known as ‘regeneration’
This is a word that must be only displayed when a serious health warning has been attached to its display.
The allied, implied and understood suggesting was that if the voters at the then scheduled 4 May 2006 council elections backed the sitting group of councillors then there would be ‘benefits’ in the form of money by way of grants for ‘community groups;’ and ‘community jobs’.
That is what has been in fact the truth of what they call ‘regeneration’. They use that word deliberately untruthfully. They use it as Blair uses so many stock Blairing words quite knowingly untruthfully. They lie as Blair lies. They have lied as Blair has lied. And in their 'petition' whose
It is a term so false and so untruthful that I decided during the last decade to rearrange it and call it in context DEGENERATIN.
However, before extensively looking at the evidence of the obscenity of inner London degeneration that has been extended to and superficially 'ethnicity-linkingly' created across the East End by the corrupt clique that brought, invited and welcomed the Crossrail hole plan scheme Bill attacks on the East End, it is very important to learn exactly what they have in fact said in that petition to the Crossrail hole Bill select committee.

By that word and concept the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council meant to say that the Crossrail hole attack was in fact a ‘blessing’ because the line would bring chances of ‘regeneration’ in the Brick Lane London E1 area, in the Whitechapel London E1 area.
So it would follow that there would have been some evidence of some actual statement of some actual facts in the petition showing facts of how there would be at least the correlative and consequential possibility or the grounds for the plausibility of accepting the statement that regeneration would be taking place for the betterment of the lives of the people who are the targets of the devastating Crossrail hole plan attacks Bill..
In that event, that is, in the event of such occurrences in the ‘petition’ of ‘regeneration’, they would also have to have been citations or references to evidence of the logically compulsory next concept [or series of components in the same overall concept] which addresses the matter of the human resources and the economic context of the area.
There is none.
There is no truthful, accurate, authentic, compulsory , genuine recognition of the community bin the area that has been the subject of the Crossrail assault and the subject of the Tower Hamlets Council’s touting, colluding, misleading ‘petition’ in the name of the ‘community’.
There is neither the occurrence of the human elements nor indeed of the economic the social or the sociological or the environmental resources, realities and experiences to do with any part of the Brick Lane, Whitechapel London E1 area.
Instead, there is an overloaded reference to John Prescott’s erstwhile cabinet portfolio.
That I should be writing and publishing this dissection of the Tower Hamlets Council’s crassly conceived Crossrail hole Bill ‘petition’ in the morning of Thursday 1 June 2006 when I have also seen the ‘news’ on the morning papers in London that the very same John Prescott has been forced to give up his ‘luxury grace and grace and favour mansion’ known as Dorneywood in Buckinghamshire is not only ironic but very telling indeed.
For long I have argued that the ODPM, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister was an Odious Department that had been or could only have been created by some odiously unrepresentative time-servers who had gotten hold of the levers of power under Tony Blair and were brazenly abusing those.
One act of abuse has been those perpetrators’ appointment of people like certain Tower Hamlets councillors to unelected and unaccountable quangos, bodies like the Thames Gateway Partnership Forum which they then sued to create a mass eviction of communities out of the peoples' homes and out of their neighbourhoods.
The Tower Hamlets Council’s petition is not a petition at all.
It is another Crossrail-hole-backing pernicious piece of fabrication intended to mislead the local community into 'believing' that Tower Hamlets Council decision-makers on Crossrail were on the side of the community.
They are not on the side of the community
They never have been
More texts of the Tower Hamlets Council’s petition analysed here soon

What is the Crossrail Bill actually about?

Why is there so much fuss about it in the East End of |London?
What does it say about economic benefits
The myth about the Crossrail Bill that we, the Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole, campaign object to most is that it the Cross London Rail Link [the full name of the 'Crossrail' scheme], will ‘bring benefits’ to the East End of London.
We object it on the evidence as contained in the Crossrail Bill itself.
The Bill makes NOT ONE reference to the economics at all!
So, where did this hype about it bringing economic benefits come from?
It comes from the parade of liars whom the Big Business forces hiding behind the scheme, hired as touts to propel the scheme
One of those touts has been the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council, the very ‘democratic locally elected body’ which is supposed to uphold the rights and the interests of the local people. That body has been the chief tout in this propaganda.
Examined in conjunction with the contents of the ‘petition’ as submitted to the MPs ‘Crossrail Bill select committee’, the contents of the ‘Crossrail Bill’ are exposed as shallow, pointless and so profoundly fallacious that no reasonable person could be expected to take it at all seriously. Let alone being expected to find more than £20 Billion of public money to waste on it.
We go into the chapter and verse of the shallowness in this examination later on.
