KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO in 2009! That the 'local' East London IDIOTISER was lying for CRASSrail. Now, they make a twisted confession!
That twisted confession is typical of the fabricating IDIOTISER.
It still carries on beating the corrupting drum for Big Business by describing the scam as ‘the new £16 million Crossrail scheme’.
For a start, that sum is of course grossly, crassly inaccurate. It should be £16 Billion’.
With that kind of stark bonkers ignorance, where is the reasonable point of evidential significance allowing for a review of their ‘ journalistic’ conduct.
Any point is such a point. That is, any part of the contents of the East London Idiotiser is ‘appropriate’ as an item of idiocy that can be cited to illustrate the abysmal role the ‘local’ paper plays in misinforming the community and in keeping the community in ignorance.
That the EL IDIOTISER allowed its web site to carry the item with the stark stupid inaccuracy of “£16 Million’ where it should have put £16 billion’ shows, for the n’th time, that the IDIOTISER is indeed most idiotically ‘edited’. And callously published.
A very CRASS year is going to be had in 2010 as far as the CRASS-role playing, CRASSrail-peddling ‘East London IDIOTISER’ is concerned

Crossrail starts 2010 disrupting London Underground
31 December 2009
By Mike Brooke
WORK beginning on the new £16 million Crossrail scheme in the City and East London means disruption for the first weekend of 2010 on the Underground, passengers are warned.
Other engineering work this weekend also affects the DLR through Docklands and Overground services across London.
+++
LONDON UNDERGROUND:
The Circle Line is suspended on Saturday and Sunday, along with parts of the Metropolitan, District and Hammersmith & City lines, due to Crossrail construction work beginning.
The District is suspended between Whitechapel and Tower Hill. Replacement buses operate from Whitechapel, calling at Aldgate and Aldgate East. The Hammersmith & City is suspended from Barking to King’s Cross-St Pancras, while the Metropolitan is suspended between Aldgate and Baker Street.
Other engineering work means the Bakerloo is suspended between Queen’s Park and Stonebridge Park for Network Rail engineering work, with replacement buses calling at all stops en route.
Piccadilly Line trains only are not stopping at King’s Cross-St Pancras on Sunday due to station improvement work,
The East London Line remains closed until the summer for major extension work, when it reopens after two years with trains running through Whitechapel northward to Dalston and southward to New Cross and Croydon.
But there is respite for some travellers on the Underground, as the Jubilee Line through Docklands has no planned work this weekend, for the first time in moths. The Central, Victoria and Waterloo & City lines are also running normally.
+++
LONDON OVERGROUND:
Patchy services over the weekend on the Overground network means no trains between Stratford and Gospel Oak both days, while replacement buses to Hampstead Heath are calling at all stops on the way.
Services are also suspended between Gunnersbury and Richmond, but passengers can switch to the District Line. Services are suspended between Willesden Junction and Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday and between Shepherd’s Bush and Clapham Junction after 10.30pm, but passengers can switch to Southern Rail.
Euston-to-Watford Junction services are suspended between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone all weekend, with replacement buses calling.
+++
LONDON DOCKLANDS:
DLR services at Bank are suspended until the end of January for platform extension work to take three-carriage trains in the New Year.
