No need for debate- Get Keith off the Council

Say No to Crossrail hole Bill at local election 2006

Our supporters at the LONDON SAYS have made this contribution on Wednesday 14 December 2005

WE SUPPORT THE BRICK LANE LONDON E1 Community campaign against the Crossrail hole Bill.

Just for the record, we noted in this week's edition of the 'Newham Recorder' (mystifyingly called Tower Hamlets recorder') carry a 'letter' saying that there should be a 'debate' on Crossrail. the 'letter' seems to be from the same campaign. we don't agree at all that there should be a debate. The time for debate is over. They have got the Bill already past the Second Reading.

We must use all our energies now to forcing the Tower Hamlets Council to withdraw its backing for Crossrail hole Bill.

Here is what we have told the 'Tower Hamlets Recorder' today 14 December 2005

No need for debate- Get Keith off the Council.

Sink the Crossrail hole ploy now.

There is no need for any 'debate' with Tower Hamlets Councillor Michael Keith at all. There is no time for any debate either.

Had there been a 'debate' that would have best taken place in 2003.

Sometime before June 2003 when Michael Keith began his public lobbying for the Crossrail scheme. People need to realise that far from being a mere local councillor on Tower Hamlets Council, Michael Keith has behaved as a pro-active agent for the big business interests that have the most gain if a Crossrail plan is approved in its present Bill, form in the UK Parliament.

The most important task is to get Michael Keith off Tower Hamlets Council and get the rest of his colluders for Crossrail thrown out of the Tower Hamlets

Council. Then build a democratic and accountable Council.

No, not a stunt one with George Galloway either.

Build a council in Tower Hamlets with local people being able to have our say on actual decisions that are seen to be being made by taking account of what local people say.

With what local people need locally.

On all aspects of our life that are in any way affected by the conduct of the local Tower Hamlets Council. 'Our' local Council.

Neither the Tories nor the Lib Dems are up to the job either.

Hard times. But the results of hard work will be equally exciting.

Let us organise the people and make a peoples' manifesto come to the fore now.

Before the parties and their cohorts get away with foolish vote-grabbing promises.

Stop the bogus scrutiny of Crossrail hole Bill by MPs - Stop the Crossrail hole attacks on the community in the East End of London

BRICK LANE AREA NO TO CROSSRAIL HOLE Bill: Community prepares to say NO TO CROSSRAIL HOLE BILL during 'scrutiny'

The item we published on this site in the KHOODEELAAR breaking news edition at 0110 Hrs GMT on 13 December 2005 was taken from a pro-Crossrail hole Bill organisation. We carried it to show the facts of how the pro-Crossrail hole Bill lobby were active in the promotion of the hole Bill.

They are alert and are vigilantly pressing the Blair regime to make more public cash available for the Crossrail hole venture that will enable the city of London interests to reap the harvest of public dosh in the constriction and building bonanza they expect the hole Bill to unleash when that Bill is made into an Act of Parliament.

As the City of London interests crave the loot, the community in the Brick Lane London E1 Area faces destruction.

We aim to make sure that the hole attacks the Crossrail Bill will make on the community are exposed for all to see.

We aim to defend the community and to undermine the promotion of the Crossrail hole Bill.

We are aware that the majority of the so-called objections to the Crossrail, hole Bill are petty and are not at all AGAINST the Crossrail plan.

The majority of the so-called objectors are supporters of the Crossrail plan.

Those objectors do not belong in the community.

They do not belong with the community

They do not care about the community.

We aim to draw maximum attention to the violation of one of the most diverse, positive human resources that is the Brick Lane London e1 area. It has emerged as a triumph of human resistance against exploitation and greed. It has done so in stages and gradually over the past three hundred years in the Brick Lane London e1 Area.

Defend the Brick Lane London E1 Area.

Say no to Crossrail hole Bill attacks provisions that will destroy the community in the Brick Lane London E1 Area

Blaired Party is NOT the Labour Party in the EAST END of London

By © MUHAMMAD HAQUE

1700 Hrs GMT

London Thursday 8 December 2005

The forthcoming local council elections to be held in parts of the UK including in London have been 'decided' in effect by the parties that have apparently selected the best candidates for representing their local areas. This is utterly untrue. Local people must have proper and full and transparent say in who gets to be selected to represent the locality. Parties must not have that control any longer.

This is most acutely apparent in the inner city East London where the local council is the LB Tower Hamlets Council.

Tower Hamlets Council has been the subject of months of speculation concerning the list of candidates that the ‘Labour Party’ would confirm as the candidates for the Blair Party.

The list has now been published.

And what a sarcastic sense the compilers of the 'list of potential councillors' must have possessed!

The list contains no clues as to what the Blair Party was thinking – if thought had anything to do with it.

In the commonly, universally understood sense of the term ‘thought’!

The list DOES PROVE once again that the Blaired beings - who have found themselves at various stages in the past 8 years at the receiving end of the many small benefits and positions and approbations that go with being ‘in power’ or in the vicinity of ‘power’ whether locally or at the UK ‘national’ level – are not likely to voice any views , hold any opinion far less risk their particular petit careers by giving expression to any moral argument that they must voice and express if they are to tell the truth about the conduct of the controlling group of the local Tower Hamlets council.

This is what being BLAIRED is about.

This is what being Blaired does.

Being brainless.

Or, rather, being bereft of whatever brains there might have been before being Blaired!

When the so-called London Labour Party, which is a collection of very Blaired servers of the time, last ‘acted’ to make sure that the list of councillor candidates for Tower Hamlets was a hundred percent Blaired, it took particular ‘interest’ in the goings on in the Tower Hamlets outfit of the Labour Party.

The then Greater London Labour Party Chair Chris Robbins (also known as councillor on Waltham Forest Council, in London E17) formed a two member panel that ‘interviewed’ some of the Labour Party members then on the long list .

One particular candidate was asked a question to the following effect:

Why do you want to be a councillor?

The Labour Party member answre4d along the following lines;

To defend the community from the manifest takeover ploys of the City of London

Interests.

being a councillor is no big deal at all.

Defending the community is utterly vital at this stage and the local Council must be politicised to such an existent that it can and does stand up to the City of London interests and in defence of the East End people.

The result?

Chris Robbins and his co-time-servers filed an absolutely untruthful and false single line ‘report’ saying that the Labour Party member concerned had shown not ‘enough commitment’ !

[To be continued]
