KHOODEELAAR! Created another milestone on this date 17 January four years ago in 2006 when we mounted a series of street activities in Brick Lane, Hanbury Street, Princelet Street and adjoining  areas in East London as part of the campaign against the ‘Crossrail Bill’ which was being given routine [passage by the UK House of Commons.

We created historic  millstones by marking the sitting on that date 17 January 2006 of the Mps stooged committee, mis-named ‘Crossrail Bill select committee’.

We did that also to announce the Khoodeelaar! Campaign’s position that as long as he had not broken the rules as known to us and as long he had not taken part in any immoral, unethical conduct to our knowledge, the ‘local MP’, George Galloway would not be attacked by us.

This position  was historic. And it defined the course of what happened in the community, in the name of the local community  about G Galloway in the years that followed.

Why?

Because everyone else in the 'Bethnal Green and Bow' UK Parliamentary constituency  – other than a very very small number of individuals linked with Galloway himself – was getting on the bandwagon of attacking Galloway for his residence then at the Channel 4 Big Brother House.

We shall  during this weekend and in the weeks that follow, be updating those events and the Khoodeelaar! Role in them

[To be continued]
